Great location for a conference, meeting, coffee, or a show. Wow views from cafe/bar, and wow snacks and cake. Fast internet. Lovely spacious ornate auditorium. No parking at the Spa, but free parking on road on side away from coast - payable on that side.
Great little venue, with an amazing atmosphere, we managed to get seats on the balcony first come basis, there were a couple of separate seats, either side of about 5 people.. I politely asked them if they'd shuffle up and we could sit together.. Handy for the toilets also.. Friendly staff and the alcohol wasn't as much of a rip off, like it is at some venues..
We have visited a few times now for a bite to eat in the cafe whilst collecting tickets and most recently to see ‘history of rock’. Bridlington Spa comes highly recommended. After visiting once to see a show as soon as we got home we booked again such was the experience. The staff are all polite and helpful be it behind the bar, or assisting you to your seat or in the ticket office. Its just a great experience.
We called a couple of times whilst out and about for a pot of tea and a toasted fruit teacake, enough in the 'pot' for a generous 2 cups. A good view from the 'big' window of the beach and harbour, the information leaflets are varied and full of interesting things. The 'loo's' are spotless and we even took a sneak peak in the theatre, which looked great!
The spa Bridlington has so much to offer, the venue is located on Bridlington seafront. Why not have a drink or and a bite to eat in the friendly cafe whilst enjoying the beautiful views across Bridlington harbor. The venue has loads of love events on throughout the year. Please see website for schedule. The site doesn't have any on-site parking although there's plenty of parking all along the seafront and within a very short walk of the venue.
A fantastic live music venue. Great sound. Bit of a crush from the floor at the end with 2500 people trying to leave through one door.
Our first visit to Bridlington and the Spa and we saw Rob Lamberti- tribute to George Michael. Friendly staff, pleasant decor and the ceiling in the main part is impressive. I expected smarter tables to sit at. There isn't much room between the seats though and once people move their chairs round when the show starts its even more difficult to walk past with drinks/toilet etc. Comfy chairs though. What really let this place down for me was the sound. When the show started the vocals were muffly and the instruments struggling to be heard and distinguished between each other. The lighting was not professional at all my partner does lighting for small concerts and he said he could do a better job. The lights were not in time with the music at all. I enjoyed the show the more alcohol I had and the atmosphere was great lots up dancing which I haven't seen before at a concert so that was enjoyable. We left before the end to beat the rush but even though Rob Lamberti impressed me I feel the venue let him down. Thank goodness for the reception he received from the audience otherwise he probably would have walked off
Excellent place , was a craft fair on and there was a Gunness world record event going on , they had too build a trojan horse out of cardboard by 3.15pm Sunday. Was brill too see
I recently visited Bridlington Spa Theatre and Cafe and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The theatre itself is beautiful, with comfortable seating and excellent acoustics. The production I saw was top-notch and really added to the overall atmosphere of the venue. In addition to the theatre, the cafe at Bridlington Spa is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a bite to eat. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including sandwiches, soups, and baked goods. I particularly enjoyed the coffee, which was rich and full-flavored. The staff at the cafe were all friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Fabulous evening watch The Sound of Springsteen. What a show! What a beautiful venue and some of the loveliest and most helpful staff Ive ever come across... Looking forward to coming back here to see Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel in October.
