Nice food at very reasonable price. Coffee and tea is refillable. Outside street parking is chargeable, but you can find free parking 100 meter further away on crest view dr.
Overall food standards were good. The heatwave barger were with wrong sauce as it was supposed to come with naga sauce but were Chipotle mayo inside. The coordination was not appropriate, also the bun was not tosted enough. The fries were perfect but the wings and onion rings were over cooked. The service were quick and good. The setting places were clean and enough setting space. Toilets were clean.
On previous occasions to the Sovereign I have always enjoyed it. The food is served hot, quickly and is good value for money. Unfortunately my steak was overcooked on this occasion but I was too hungry to point out and short of time, hence only 3 stars.
AWFUL JUST AWFUL. Ordered cod and chips and it came up burnt and dry with hardly any fish but lots of batter. When I complained I was told it was probably the cooking oil needed changing and this was the standard of fish served. I was asked if I would like anything else from the menu so I ordered gourmet sirloin steak instead for sn extra £3 and I'm sure I was given the worst steak in the fridge. Gristle and fat along with over cooked end of a tomato under cooked small mushroom and cold peas. Moral of this review is don't complain and put up with awful food or you will be served even worse.
Just a regular weatherspoon pub. Ordered chicken wings. They were overcooked. Expected them to be oven baked. They were deep fried.
The food was very nice for a weatherspoons and quick to arrive despite the pub being packed
Solid food. Busy during Christmas as expected. Try calling ahead for busy periods. They made a mistake during our meal & they not only corrected it but they also didn’t charge extra.
Really cosy pub lovely little booths food and drinks very good value
Would rate this a bit higher as the staff are actually friendly, but the tables are always messy and the food is a bit on the 50/50 side of things. So depending on what you order you night get something really well cooked, like the fish and chips in the picture or a bit of a rip off like the Sirloin steak I've had in the past which I wouldn't even have called the cut a Sirlon. Just a heads up the mixed grill and the Scampi are always a solid choice.
Been hear several times always great service and good food iv been in lots of witherspoons but this is my favourite.
