Made up reasons to arest me. Refused me any phone calls. Wouldnt give me any water ot food in 24 hours. Rude staff power trips. U can tell they were all bullyed at school. The ones that have the biggest attitues are not even police officers they get therr kickeds from bullying and ignoring peoples basic needs then whne tgeu shout or bang to try andget water tbey laugh turn the buzzer off and say ya not getting nothing! Not bizzies divvys!!!

Good police officers, treated me with respect not a scuff on me I had been arrested in hospital under the mental health act and they locked me up for couple days in Southwick, fed me well and give me hope of my release contacted my wife of my custody and that  I was coming home. The Police Sargent is a man of honour and has a good presence about him. I told him my father's name so that he could recognise me and he has good judgement. The prison officer answered all my requests and when he got sick of demands of early release he started singing lol

Gave me 1 water for the full 8/9 hours I was in got food just as i was about to get interviewed

Sergeant hazard was brilliant and very helpful I can’t thank him enough also the 2 police men from south shields

The food in custody is top notch but it had to be one star I'm afraid, due to the fella in the cell next door crying for his mam all night. Apart from that it was cush

Most of the staff treated me with respect, apart from the odd few, all the female staff and the officer arrested me were all very decent, but on more than once occasion I asked a certain custody officer for water and on numerous occasions he wouldn’t give it to me, just kept telling me in a minute in a minute, eventually turning off the buzzer in my cell, I will be looking to find out this officers name and badge number once my case is settled to report him.

Pay like 1200 quid council tax big part goes to police. Never once ever asked for help the one time I did just fobbed me off ... useless all to busy in Mac Donald’s

This place has poor hospitality, rude staff, the en suite bathrooms are extremely smelly and the room service food is terrible...tut...tut...you police officers may enjoy eating compleat microwave meals.. But I most certainly do not

When they handcuffed me they were very gentle,  their patrol car smelled like lilac and was very roomy, 9/10 would get get arrested again.

They let people out of the cells at 2am & expect them to get home from Sunderland to south Shields the officers have attitudes and expect them to pay taxi fares out of there benefit
