Nice park that is kept clean & maintained. It has a bowling green, tennis courts, exercise area, rowing boats & sport pitches. The cafe is bit dated but kept clean & well stocked. Staff are polite. There is a small toddler's play area & a busy kids area, slide is a must for any child! Plenty of trees, ducks, swans, joggers & dogs. Great place in summer as always a festival or event happening.

Beautiful park with a lovely pond centrally located where you can hire pedal boats. There's a small gallery which hosts a variety of events and showcases local art. A fantastic gated children's play area and a small cafe are located adjacent to the pond. There's a large bandstand at the southern end of the park which is used throughout the summer for various events, and the park plays host to a 10 km fun run every Saturday morning. The Southwark fireworks spectacular is one not to be missed. This free show is offered to Londoners free of charge and offers a mesmerising fireworks display which is perfectly choreographed to music, with humour, grace and style. Local vendors also set up so you can grab a bite to eat or a drink too. The park features a path which runs the entire circumference so you can take a stroll around the whole park easily, there are benches located at regular intervals throughout the loop. Unfortunately there is a road which effectively splits the park in two, both ends of the park are gated but be careful walking with little ones who might be tempted to rush out - as there is often traffic traveling back and forth along this road. The park also features outdoor tennis courts and outdoor table tennis tables which are all free to use. All in all, it's a fantastic well rounded park that is beautifully kept. Well with a visit.
