After visiting couple of times for Bermondsey beer mile, time to leave my reviews. Not a bad place. Good cask and keg beers. Service is really good by friendly staff. All I didn’t like is atmosphere. Something is missing but what didn’t get that. It’s the only thing I was missing. Btw clean toilet with shower .
“Ella pale” and “wish you were here pale” are, unfortunately, some of the worst beer we have tasted. Classic Bermondsey BM venue, nothing untoward.
Like many locations along the Bermondsey Beer Mile, they have rustic factory hall charm, but with a good selection of beers! The Hoppy Days Pale Ale was great. Unfortunately we were there on a quiet Wednesday, but the visit on the weekend is sure to be more action-packed!
Awesome! we came with some friends from California to check out London. This "under the arches" brewery was awesome! good ales/beers, hole in the wall atmosphere - with buddies would recommend for a beer crawl stop - funnily we sat next to some other folks from the US ... when we came there was a shower in the toilet ... which was odd so bring your towel! lol. A memorable stop on our beer crawl, would totally recommend! Beers we really good!
Loved the session ipa at the Southwark brewing company, fresh beers always good. Friendly staff, lovely place.
It's truelly crafted beer, made here behind our backs! Its great price for quality beer you get!
Nice premises and a nice friendly atmosphere from those enjoying a drink. Wasn't overly fussed on their ale offerings but taste is subjective and each to their own, just wasn't for me. Found the person behind the bar a little off to. Would suggest you judge for yourself though as had a good crowd so obviously doing something right :-
We had a chance to enjoy some outside beers on our London trip from Florida. As a beertender back in the states, I love trying out new micro breweries and this one had the brewmaster spirit! Beers in England are very different from the states so I’m always curious to try new styles. The Drop Top and Saison were unique. Loved the environment!
The start of our beer crawl. On the larger side of taprooms. They opened later than their stated time which isn’t that bad so aim to swing by around 1120 instead. Beers are good but definitely lacking in character. I had the double hopped ale and thought it was decent. Venue seems fun, with a TV and music playing.
Great beer and people! Super atmosphere! Really recommend to come over for a craft pint or two or... ten !
