Mrs Busby strikes again. After 4 formal negative reviews about this lady, YMCA is not willing to take necessary actions. Always she is protected by her managers. Her strong mother's bias is a shame for the society and children. She indeed is not able to speak the truth and do all possible to compromise the life of children. Mrs Busby should not work in this environment as she is a treath to children and fathers. I can strongly suggest anyone to record any interaction with YMCA's staff, especially with Ms Busby. She will accuse you of her unprofessional and malicious behaviour, notifying CAFCASS and disappear for days and month until the complaint is closed. Her behaviour is detrimental for children and fathers. Avoid this center if you can, if you cannot, video record everything.
If you are ever unfortunate enough as a father to find yourself at this centre. Do not go. If you do record everything secretely because the staff, especially Teresa Busby will fabricate concerns at the mother's request to stop your contact. Do not be fooled by her fake demeanor. The lady is a snake. The problem is all her colleagues will support her. It will be all their word against yours and good luck with that in court.
Bad reviews about Teresa totally unjustified she helped me get though a bad time I now see my daughter all the time and she was a big part of that
I have a three year old son and a five months old baby girl and I love this children's centre as it offers a good variety of activities for babies and toddlers. Most activities are free and some are just £1 which is definitely not a lot if you compare it to other activities in the area. I would recommend everyone with small children and babies to make use of these activities. Staff is also very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work Southbourne children's centre :
Awful experience, the staff are some of the most bias and unprofessional women. I've ever had to deal, they make it clear they don't have the children's best interest at heart. Everything they do benefits the women and if you happen to be late because the place is in the middle of nowhere. You miss out on quality time with your children and they try and dictate on how to parent. Awful place,needs shutting down.
Easy to access with a pram. Friendly staff. Nice amenities.
It's a spacious place. You can use in holding get together or church program as the case may be
Good clean hall not huge but big enough for a good kids party. Kept in good condition
Fantastic for the kids and really well thought out. Fantastic experience for the kids and the staff were excellent.
Very clean tidy and together a great venue for children and adults alike
