Fairways lovely, green are nice and quick although most quite flat. Course generally is in very good condition. Lovey setting too. We arrived and ignored at the shop for a fair few minutes. Tip - however busy people are, please encourage them to acknowledge your existence and say you’ll be with you shortly. Nothing worse than a visitor not feeling welcome
Played in a charity day here and have done for several years. A really good course, challenging yet forgiving on a couple of holes atleast the course was in great condition, the staff helped run the day efficiently and all in all it was a good day raising money for a local charity. Would recommend playing here anytime, we were lucky with the weather today, however I have played when it is wet and the course drains really well. Enjoy!
Held my daughters wedding at the golf club. Honestly had the perfect day. Staff were brilliant, with nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent. Fantastically organised day. Thanks again to all involved. You made a special day very memorable.

If you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect place. Beautiful Lodges in a lovely setting. Lots of walks around the area. It's still close enough if you wanted to drive to Winchester City for shopping.
played the course a few days ago,,,,,,great setting,, feels a bit special as your driving into the club ,, past the greens and up to the clubs house,, impressive for a beginner like myself,,,, we found the food was good quality,,,drinks are expensive as expected,,, and club house staff were friendly,,, and club members that we chatted to were all great,, i have only been playing 6 months and this was my 7th or 8th 18 holes,,,,, and i found the course very interesting,, i played to my strengths of pitching and putting but suffered with my relatively short driving ability as their were some long holes,,,,, would definitely return,,,,,,,only reason for 4 stars is solely down to one of the course marshals being a rude prick,,, just a honest observation,, the guys i was playing with were seasoned low handicappers and had their backs put up by the marshal which was a shame as we were all having a enjoyable day and by no means holding anyone up!!!!! but i do have to mention the green keepers etc were great,,,,no stress,,,and helpful,,,,,,,,, so a honest review,,,,,only one negative,,,,,love to go back soon,,,,
Loved the layout. Well positioned club house. Good food and friendly staff. Pitty the Pro shop offering is so thin. Certainly worth a visit.
Impressive golf course in South Winchester with nice clubhouse providing tasty dishes.
Course was enjoyable if not a little repetitive in hole layouts occasionally. Good food and beer with an attractive terrace area.
