Great value. Normally not too busy. Pat 3 and 4s on an interesting 9 hole course. Driving range and practice putting green. Lovely views of the surrounding countryside
Great 9 hole course. Full size holes one being a par 5. Casual dress code, which is nice. Good pricing. The driving range is also good, slight up hill but plenty to aim for. Decent little putting green. Lots of parking space. Memberships available too.
Play here regularly, great course for beginners at a v reasonable price, membership pays for itself after 5 or so rounds. The course quality can be a bit inconsistent, but for what you pay, it's ideal. Challenging enough to keep you on your toes, forgiving enough that you won't lose too many balls!

Golf course is a good beginner 9 hole. Gets a bit boggy on some holes though even in the summer. Driving range. I wouldn’t bother with. It’s £2.50 for 40 balls and no junior rates. It’s just not competitive. The range itself is not bad but I won’t be going back there as it’s just too expensive. I was up there on a dry Sunday and it was empty. A testement to their uncompetitive rates.
A real shame. Turned up with my 8yr old son to go on the driving range. Only to be told its members only. I asked to become a member again just for the range but refused as no membership available. Been coming here for over 20yrs. Two cars in the carpark so not even busy. Chap on the phone wasn't flexible at all. Never again.......
Used to be a great casual course, but now it’s “members only” - massive shame and I feel as though they’ve alienated a massive customer base. Best of luck to them, but I don’t see this as a model that can work for them given the bigger “members only” clubs nearby.
I'd say Otterbourne is good for beginners. It's really relaxed, each time I've played here there's been noone behind me. My only gripe is the greens seem to be quite unfair. Not maintained particularly well. But for the price you pay for nine holes here and the relaxed atmosphere I can't complain that much.
It’s come a long way and you can really see continued investment being made by the owners… perhaps a direct result of closing its gates to members only. A very enjoyable 9 hole that’s only going to keep getting better.
