I started a course last year in May. When I started the lady didn't know I had applied to do the course. I did not get told what I needed to have with me as in equipment. I also did not get told I needed a placement before the course started. If I did not have a placement I can't carry on which is shocking. I tried to get my money back and they said no. I have said to people don't apply to do a course there. It is bad!
Southstaffs Lichfield went out of their way to support my child's learning and facilitate the best options for her. The staff are passionate, hard-working and dedicated to their pupils' progress.
I came here for two years and I never learnt anything. I got bullied there but the teachers didn’t do much about it they would only tell them of and that’s it. I think the teachers were rubbish they would only blame me for everything. I wouldn’t recommend this college to anyone I’m so glad I left the college because my mental health was getting bad every day and I was sick of the teachers blaming me all the time also if you have a autistic child don’t send them to this college.
Poor level of teaching lessons cancelled no pastoral care " apparently not their job" No follow ups after lessons cancelled blaming students for course problems

I’ve been trying to contact someone to speak to them about a course at this college for over a month. The phone number sends you to an answer phone, or just cuts you off, regardless of which option you press. Only one number advertised for all four campuses. The email system is also not generating responses. Not a good impression. How on earth is a student supposed to contact them? If they can’t organize someone to answer the phone, how on earth are they going to organize a course of study and exams? Very poor.
My daughter went to the college and found it a really good experience. She made some good friends whilst there; it's just a shame we couldn't afford for her to take up her place for her foundation degree. The small zoo they've got there is really good and the animals are well cared for. I've been told the agricultural and horticultural studies are very good too.
Been a student at southstaffshire college been a amazing experience working with the staff and animals in practicals. Staff are very friendly and always help you with anything if they can. I've done 2 years and it's been absolutely fantastic journey I recommend this to anyone who wants to do animal care and other course such as construction. It is worth it.
Spent my time here for almost 2 years now and I can say with confidence I haven’t enjoyed the experience here. Being promised things that haven’t been apparent to happen. Not only that, on my first year I was messed around getting half the education I should be with teachers leaving and joining. Some of us,age 18 pay for education and I can speak for them when they say they haven’t got the education they have paid for Going in and out of college is an absolute struggle for students as the car pack is a mine field full of pot hole and it shouldn’t be acceptable. My last year has just about been pulled through with my teacher as of September 2018 pulling our class though on our level 3 motor vehicle. So thank you to him.... Josh Morgan
Brilliant afternoon spent with my grandchildren looking around the animal enclosures. A very clean and well kept place The animals are obviously well taken care of.
