This is our local chip shop. They re opened last year so for the first couple of times I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. However it is quite poor service. Last night we waited 26 minutes for our food and the saveloy & kebab were cold. I had hoped that with time their service may have improved, but this does not seem to be the case.
Just had fish and chips and chicken meat in pitta delivered. it was stone cold and all we got back was a measly 6 pound, this is the 7 th time we used that chippy never again couldn’t even get the full refund what a joke
Was looking forward to trying after re opening, as was one of the best chip shops in the area. Hard, undercooked and very pale, what a disappointment no quality control. Using Rubery fish bar now further but reliable
Ordered online for collection and food was nowhere near ready when I turned up despite the website telling me that it would take 15 minutes. Took ages to explain to the staff that I had an order to collect, and when told it would be 10 more minutes, the woman kept repeating "its a large order", its food for three people! Hardly a large order! Food was OK, Scallop was too thick and far too soggy! Fish was the same. Forgot one portion of chips off the order! Overall not a great experience! Only redeeming quality was the milkshakes.
Bought chips this evening. Packet didn't feel warm but put that down to the thick wrapping. Opened them... stone cold!! So don't know how long they had been sitting there. Shame really as i tasted a few and if they had been warm they would have been nice!

Just got back from here to a stone cold steak and kidney pie .... frozen ... Will never use this chippy again . Food all over floor dirty walls

Terrible service, terrible food. Recommended me to have a "new" burger, wasn't nice at all, my partner had asked for sauce and was given some random sauce. This time ive asked for a mix of sauces, and was laughed at and told only 1 sauce only, then told me they don't have small boxes only large boxes. This is the larger guy behind the till. After questioning and telling him the food last time wasn't the best he didn't want to serve me so the smaller guy served and sorted my order fine. I only came here because my usual was closing and had nothing in.
Horrific poor quality, bought a cone of chips and kebab meat and chips , meat was terrible, chips half cooked, the poor foxes will eat tonight and they may complain to me , what a waiste of £6.70 , absolute waiste, having beans on. Toast for dinner now as I just couldn't eat, wow is there a worse chippy out there, I doubt it.
