Proper warm filling comfort food, forget the one previous negative review stating the owner is miserable. I think that's a reflection of themselves. Owner and his daughter I presume, were welcoming and served with a smile

So dissatisfied use to like this place had fish and chips today with chicken meat and chips the fish tasted off , didn't taste fresh ...will never use this place again time to find another chippy

I love this place and have been a delighted customer ever since George took over decades ago. It's the best chip shop I have ever been to with a great variety of food, expertly prepared. Excellent service.

I Love the food from this place... I've been coming here for years and I'll drive past numerous other chippy's on my way to Georges... The food is fresh and portions are fair.  This family takes as great pride in serving fresh and tasty food. There attention to cleanliness is second to none The place is spotless I especially liked the Christmas decorations they always make the shop look beautiful for the customers.  Thank you for many years of great food

George is not only a true gentleman, but his chip shop is consistently serving up quality food. One of the better chip shops in the area without a doubt.

I forgot my gps is on and my phone follows my every move haha, george's definetly a place to have a kebab, i ordered 2 mix and it was delicious it was cheat day i just had too xD will definitely visit again !!!

Best chip shop in brum always welcoming staff but most importantly high standard of food 4 me this is my number 1 by far aswell as clean my only grumble wud be it shuts 2 early!

Very nice fresh food.  We had two chicken and chips today served by friendly staff.  Will revisit if working in the area again.
