I visited the clinic for a check up after several years always putting it off as I’m a nervous patient. I really didn’t rate this clinic much but the options are limited in the area, Dr Mohammed Din the latest addition to the surgery dealt with me in such a calm understanding manner and was nice to have someone actually spend time and resolve the issue I was facing, rather than fobbing me off. Went through everything thoroughly even though I asked the Dr to repeat and explain each step to me several times. It’s hard getting into a dentist these days, but if you need help contact these guys and ask for Dr Din, he will definitely help out and work to get you sorted. He is very busy so be patient and it is 100% worth every penny. He is Bloody great from start to finish. Can’t recommend him enough. I was quick to be checked in by the reception staff. The clinic was nice and clean as well as being modern. Overall he is a good caring person and it’s a bonus he has the best room in the clinic with a view as well as a TV to keep you distracted away whilst he is working. It’s a double bonus when the nurse sorry I forgot the name is also good and not moody as you see in some clinics and was reassuring me during the procedure. It’s good to know these two people get on and have a little banter between them keeps the environment happy and chirpy too. Keep up the good work and I’ll be seeing you in 6 months.
Visited for the first time today and was so impressed. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming from the reception staff to the dental nurses. I’m a nervous patient who hasn’t seen a dentist in many years and I can honestly say after seeing Dr Khan today my fear has now gone! She was so professional and made me feel completely comfortable throughout. Thank you all for a great service. Would certainly recommend.
I have attended this practice twice now this year as a new patient. On both occasions the staff have been faultless. I was told I would be seen by a private dentist but pay NHS prices. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The dentist and dental nurse put me at ease and reassured me. Very thorough and asked if I had any problems. Both appointments have been on time. I am very pleased with this practice and wish I had moved from my previous dentist sooner!
I've been coming here for years and have nothing but good things to say about this practice. I think a lot of the negative comments should be sent to the NHS/MP's rather than on here. Whenever I've had a dental emergency, they've fit me in at a time that I can make - not just on their terms. The receptionist are great, very friendly and accommodating - as are all of the staff there. I can't say I've sat and waited for a long time to be seen but if I was I'd accept that appointments don't always run to plan and better that you get the treatment that you need than rushed out. Over the years I've had 2 teeth out, never with a problem. I only came here to see what time they open as I can't sleep thanks to a broken tooth and was appalled to see so many bad comments but typically people only make the effort when they want to complain so please bear that in mind whilst reading some of them. 5 stars all round
Well when I go told no problem then few weeks later have a problem so try to make an appointment but no so then go private get sorted privately they say it should have been noticed, if you ask to have your teeth cleaned you will pay again in a few weeks we can do it 5mins in chair that's it, trying to find a decent dentist is a nightmare. I was there when someone phoned ask to be taken on but no was the answer but privately we can do you. Why we pay N.I is beyond me. This country has gone down the drain. Gone are the days when you got seen quick and clean at the same time.
I'd give it zero if I could. Botched tooth extraction from an emergency appointment. Had me sign something while I was still out of it, with no explanation what it was. Got rid of me asap, had not stopped the bleeding at all. Worst of all they said they referred me to hospital, and 1 month later I just rung up to find out what's happening and they never sent it at all. Now tell me they cant unless I'm a patient with them, so I've been in pain all this time for no reason at all.
I registered myself and my Wife as a new NHS patient at the Surgery after moving into the area around 3 months ago when they were taking on new NHS patients, I spoke to the receptionist and double checked we were registered as NHS patient and the NHS price banding applied, which was confirmed. I made an appointment for a check up last week, and turned up 15 mins early, I was called in at 12:05 35 mins late and as soon as I went in even before sitting in the chair the dentist advised me i would be charged as a private patient as i was a new patient and not NHS prices did not apply, I stated I registered as an NHS patient months earlier, but had only made an appointment the week earlier. I was told it was only around £6 dearer than NHS and would I sign a disclaimer, i refused as if I needed further treatments it would be expensive. I did not sign up as a private patient, it seemed to me the Dentist saw an opportunity to make extra money. Needless to say, i refused, left the surgery and asked for my details to be removed from the surgery never to return, even the receptionist was embarrassed. After reading earlier reviews probably a wise choice
reading some of the reviews on this site are horrible I've been coming to this practice since the old place across the road and I've never had a problem I've been seen to if they had appointments if not I've had to wait like most they can't just magic appointments from thin air.. the reception ladys are only doing there job so if they say there is nothing available then why be rude. OK I get some people are nervous about visiting the dentist and yes you do get a bit of pain when having treatment but all these negative reviews are unacceptable.. but then I've never had a problem with either of the dentists or from reception well done ladys keep up the good work it's also a clean place to visit. I actually enjoy going to this dentist I can say in the past I've been to a lot worse..
I came here for dental treatment more than once. My first dentist was great, he listened to me and understood my mental health issues. However, the second dentist I was seen by was very unkind. I explained my situation, noted my health problems and expressed how eager I was to get my teeth sorted I expected a good second experience after the first treatment I received. She chose to lecture me and tell me my issues didn't matter instead, proceeding to belittle me in front of her assistants. I have anxiety but never felt nervous about going to the dentist - thanks to her I have developed a new fear and my dental health as suffered as a result. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I feel this is important for others who maybe be similar to myself to know.
Due to my previous dentist removing NHS patients I have had to resort to 111 emergency dentist appointments. This practice was my 2nd emergency appointment in a week and to be honest it would have been easy for the dentist to take the x-ray's, tap my teeth and say 'no cant see anything must just be settling down from the treatment you had last week' and then call in the next emergency appointment but the Dentist did not do that. He kept trying to locate the issue whilst also gaining another dentists viewpoint to see if they could find anything to explain the pain I am in. Between them an issue was found in a really awkward spot for x-rays. I have had this problem intermittently for years and often been told 'cant see anything here's some antibiotics as it sounds like a mild infection and swill with mouth wash'. In the past I have called this practice and they had impressed me with their professionalism, now having visited and seen the practice I have registered with them. Thank you. I'm sorry I took up so much time today, apologies to anyone I kept waiting.
