Excellent fish and chips and brilliant servi e. Lunch time special Small Fish, Chips and Peas with cup of tea or coffee £8.35 excellent value and nice white flaky fish with great batter. Nice restaurant with plenty of seating. Parking available in Caen Street Car park about 100 yards away. Parking: About 100 yards away with plenty if spaces. 70p for an hour.
Absolutely lovely fish and chips light crispy batter and pure white fish when on holiday again we will definitely use again.
Absolutely amazing chips crispy kut and soft inside. Delicious batter- super crispy And not soggy at all even at the bottom; and the fish- flaky and soft. And ybe cherry on the cake are the stuff very friendly and professional. Thank you for an amazing meal.
It took several minutes to be acknowledged although the restaurant was quiet. Food was OK & arrived in good time. Friendly service. The biggest disappointment was the home made tartar sauce that was charged at over £1 but was essentially mayonnaise with whole capers.

Better half wanted me to go to "the other place" but the queue looked too big for my liking. So I got takeaway from here and must say it was all perfect. If the streets look busy, free parking is available after 6pm in the public carpark behind the building. Click and collect also available.
Wow what can I say after reading some of the reviews we though we must try it . So ordered two portions of large chips to start with !!! Got home and straight in the bin they went absolutely disgusting not cooked through raw potatoes in side I couldn't believe it . Well squire's it is round the corner from now on . I will never be ripped off for 7 quid on chips that go in the bin stay away my advice
Great restaurant, great food, great portions. Quite busy when we visited but served quickly. Staff were very pleasant.

We have just had cod and chips from South 16. It was absolutely delicious, good flaky fish, crispy batter, good well cooked chips with a bite to them. Excellent home made tartare sauce too. Highly recommend it. The staff and service are great too!
