Needed a stop after coming off the Belfast ferry and we were lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening. Very nice set up in the pub and we were seated upstairs which was a slightly quieter area. Good selection on the menu. My lambs liver was delicious and a very generous portion. Would liked to have stayed longer and sampled deserts but we had to continue on our journey to Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
Been a few times now for breakfast. Smart, comfortable surroundings, a good varied menu, great tasting food and a cappuccino that stays hot for more than 2 minutes other venues please ask them how they do it. Seriously, a pleasure to eat here.
Not the experience we were expecting the christmas fayre menus on the website was not the ones in the restaurant. One was £10 dearer than advertised one mains was fine the so called award winning beef and sausage pie very disappointing. No hesitating to deduct from bill. Sorry but want be back
Popped in here for lunch with my wife and daughter, great food and service, table was a little dark, almost had to turn on the torch on my phone to read the menu, we skipped dessert and got some cakes to take away. Excellent.Food: 5/5
Been a few times and always excellent service. Excellent food. Wonderful atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Lovely surroundings and service good but the food was very disappointing. My friend had the seabass and it was like shoe leather should never have been served. Had to send back to kitchen - replaced with no problem but spoiled our lunch. Won’t be back in a hurry.Service: 4/5
Hi..popped in with my neighbours for a coffee on a very dreary day...and as soon as we had stepped inside..spirits lifted ..bright and cheerful , with a lovely warm fire ... service was excellent as was the coffee and do try their scones..delicious...so glad we came we'll do lunch next time..xFood: 5/5
Stopped for lunch on the way home from Girvan , lovely clean fresh restaurant, good choice of food which was excellent , we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch , would reccomend you give this place a try .Service: 5/5
Loved the atmosphere. Staff were fantastic! Food was amazing . Definitely will be back .Food: 5/5
Very Dissapointed..booked for my daughters birthday there was 4 adults and 1 child we were seated upstairs which was fine but we were forgotten about had to go looking for staff to clear the table same when we wanted to order dessert etc. Member of Staff appeared with dessert for another table and I tried to get her attention before she dashed away and to say her attitude was shocking is an understatement! And I have to point out the restaurant wasn't overlay busy ! The only good experience was that the actual food was nice thank goodness! But to be honest we won't be back.
