Best Chinese in a long time, moved to the area last year and glad to have found it. Would highly recommend, always hot on delivery too!
Spent a relatively decent amount of money for food to turn up warm and to be had a go at by the driver because the location was to far away and told dont order again as they wont deliver very poor service all round avoid at all costs and spend your money elsewhere
I'm new to Maybole and decided to try Simon's kitchen was a bit surprised the curry sauce was so orange then I realised it means they make their own instead of using the mayflower powder mix most places do& it was delicious
Never usually had issues with simons always usually bang on but ever since they got new staff both times we have ordered were incorrect. The staff giving attitude back for their own mistakes shocking customer service. Called today as ordered chips boiled rice and curry sauce such a basic order and got chips boiled rice and gravy, we called up up and it was a young boy who turned around and said what do you want me to do about it and then said we'll you will be waiting over an hour before you get it.
What a disappointment. Back in the town where I grew up and would often enjoy a Simons prior to hitting the toon. Had high expectations unfortunately this was short lived. All the dishes were extremely bland and tasteless. Even the Curry sauce had no flavour and it was ORANGE!!! When did curry sauce become a tango orange colour???!!! No happy memories here. Sad ‍
Only used Simons due to the fact my regular takeway is closed and I certainly won't be using them again. Ordered food for delivery. An hour and a half later I rang to see where my food was and was told it was still being cook. Why lie? If I kniw it would have been two hour I'd never have ordered. VERY VERY POOR SERVICE
Placed order for collection, had to wait 30 mins once there, although the people in before me seemed to have been waiting a lot longer. Too many people in shop without enough space to distance properly. Food wasn't even worth the extra wait. Girl at desk very apologetic though.
Good local takeaway. Sometimes the orders can be a wee bit wayward but always good and tasty. Reasonable price for food and home delivery
What’s happened to Simons Kitchen, got a curry and the Po King’s horrible curry sauce is now the curry sauce at Simons Kitchen, it’s salt sauce so salty, straight in bin sad it was a good carry out. There’s a reason the Po King shut.
Absolute joke to get through , then when u do get through its a minuete wait time untill they even take your order, no wonder there line busy every time i fone. Absolute joke , food good but lassie on the fone is useless
