A quirky little music/arts venue tucked away in an old mill building in a suburb of Carlisle. Features a wide variety of music genres and always entertaining. Have a drink or coffee at the bar. Friendly staff and a relaxed sociable atmosphere. Appeals to a wide age range. Dancing. Open mic nights. Established and new bands/singers. Great place...well worth a visit
Great local venue for live music, giving up and coming local bands a platform to hone their skills. Was lucky enough to see Carlisle band Sugarspun play a brilliant set to a full house. You don't get ripped off with drink prices and the source has a great atmosphere.
I live next door to this venue. Never been inside but I can hear all the music free of charge whenever the fire door is open. Unfortunately it's not my kind of music, being as I am 60+, but if they throw in some free beers too I'll not complain!

Fantastic venue providing a vast cornucopia of live music and arts to the community , some brilliant acts coming up including ONECUT and SPARKY and the WAILER on 12th of March.
Nice little venue. Has a nice seating area with old sofa's and chairs and bar area, as well as stage room. It gets hot when it's full of people. The toilets could do with locks on the doors and some other maintenance.
Not bad spot, great fans but poorly supported sadly being so far out of town
The only thing that puts me off going to this place is all the steps before you actially reach the cafe cum bar!! By the time you climb about four flights of steps your ready for a strong bevie drink but once up there lovely young people to serve you a coffee or drink and very chattie they have respect for the older folks too ! Plenty seats old sofas and old chairs to sink into but entertainment nights dont start until late 9pm onwards which is no good if like me youre up very early for work im the mornings
We had a great night, good music and a reasonably priced bar, the staff very helpful, especially the one called Tom
