Four of us went to the highly popular Mexican restaurant last weekend when it advertised to have a seafood weekend. As expected, there was a queue even before the restaurant opened. We thought we would only queue for something like 20mins but ended up waiting for an hour. We ordered their ceviche, seafood tacos & quesadillas as well as grilled prawns. Also tried their cocktails which were served in dainty champagne style cups albeit plastic. Food was as good as expected although a bit on the expensive side. We spent £100 for four, all in take-away containers. I have to say it’s probably one of the best Mexican joints in London, perhaps not 100% authentic, but delicious never-the-less.
Quite possibly the best authentic Mexican tacos in London. Adobada was my fave! Don’t skip on the HORCHATA! All the salsas were self-serve and as a salsa enthusiast, this was perfect! nnI’d say the only issue with the queue but it was well worth the wait.
known as a local gem got three Mexican tacos. it was reminiscent of New York's flavours and quite the heat catacabeta the carne asada and the the barbacoa and it came with all the dressing that you can get and quite spicy. good flavour. just expensive if it were or not. as expensive as it were about five per taco. I would definitely favourite this spot but it's worth trying though. it's not like easy to hit up spot
I’m usually not a big taco fan, so I wasn’t expecting much when my friend suggested coming here. I had the Caramelo the one on the white plate in the photos and was very pleasantly surprised: the meat was tender and juicy, the flavours were spot on, and the taco itself was soft without being too oily. Everything felt really well balanced.nnI was so close to immediately ordering another one. My friend’s was great too, although I can’t recall which one she got I’m posting this a month after visiting - still thinking about it!. Would 100% come back!
Good tacos, pretty authentic but still not quite Mexico. The meat options are good but the only veggie option is the cactus, which is unique but not that great compared to the other options. Restaurant is quite small inside, the downstairs doesn’t appear to be in use these days so it was pretty crowded, not really a group spot, but at least they had AC…
