My wife and I had a Chicken Bhuna from this place recently and it was the most disgusting curry we have ever had in our lives and we have experienced Indian food from hundreds of Indian take-a-ways and restaurants throughout the UK. In this particular curry, the chicken was soggy and this was something we have never had with chicken before and this creates the serious question, "Was this chicken raw"? The sauce if you could call it sauce as it was mostly oil had an interesting aroma, but one would have to eat this blind-folded to avoid the fact that it was 50% oil. The chapatti had deep red markings on it as if someone had not washed their hands before handling it. The rice and the pakoras were very basic and you could get better than that, in many other take-a-ways. Would not recommend.
I have given this Indian take away 4 stars because I love their food, I have tried others I Indian places in Leith and they do not come even close, I find the chicken Katmandu so tasty and delicious but I have tried other dishes too and they always give you for free a poppadom with chutney and onions on the side, I would have given them 5 stars if their customer service skills were better, they can be curt at times but the only time I complained about a dish they woman who dealt with it was not rude to me, tonight I placed an order and the man who took it was very polite and I hope they keep him on to take calls
STAY AWAY!!!!! Ordered food at 20.13 and eventually turned up at 2149food was Stone cold and the quality of it was terrible and deffo not value for money either so hounest stay away unless u like disappointment up
