I specifically travel 2 hours for this bridal shop and damn did they deliver! It was a truly amazing experience, they were the only shop that really made me feel welcome and had such an amazing collection. It was such a special day and such a lovely shop. The results are also fab if I don't say so myself
Wow! Just wow! I had the most amazing experience ever at Somerset Bridal!nAs someone who finds shopping daunting due to sizing options, I was made to feel incredibly comfortable. I expressed my worries beforehand and I can honestly say all my worries disappeared the moment I walked in and started discussing things with Debbie.nI felt like an absolute confident, gorgeous queen whilst choosing my dress.nI didn’t expect to find a dress that I loved, let alone actually buy my wedding dress on the day! But when you know, you know!nStill absolutely buzzing from the whole experience!nWould 100% recommend Somerset Bridal to anyone and everyone!
I cannot recommend Somerset Bridal enough. We arrived to a personal message displayed as we walked through the door, into a beautiful store filled with a wide range of stunning wedding dresses. They took their time to get to know me & listened to everything I was looking for. I then had the chance to tag the dresses I like the look of and we began the try ons. The kept bringing out different dresses that they thought I may like, continually boosting my confidence and being honest. Nothing was too much for them! My mum & mum in law enjoyed the experience too, they were happily chatting whilst I was getting into all of the dresses. With every single dress I tried on, the more confident I felt by the way they were hyping me up!nBy the end, I found the perfect dress, I felt 0 pressure, purchased and walked out feeling like I was on cloud 9 with my lovely goody bag in hand! I can’t wait to come back for my next fitting!nThank you to all at Somerset Bridal, you surpassed my expectations of a bridal shop. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
It had been a long week or so of searching for THE ONE. I must have tried at least 30 plus dresses. Time was short as I discovered you are supposed to start looking for your dress a year in advance and I had 2 months! Luckily the ladies at Somerset Bridal were super helpful. They know their stuff and were able to offer additional choices to those I had picked out myself. By the end of the session I had not one but two dresses that I loved. However, after Re trying ONE stood out as THE ONE. I was able to purchase there and then as a sample which was fabulous. I was given a list of seamstress' for alterations and urged to contact them ASAP. I found one who has been amazing and the dress fits beautifully I just can't lose any more weight now!nI can't wait to wear the dress and see my future husband's face when he sees me. Though I say so myself I look/feel amazing in her.nI highly recommend Somerset Bridal. It's a relaxed atmosphere, you are guided, but not pushed which is helpful and they can accommodate brides who don't have much time, as well as those who have ages to plan. I would also add, I am not a skinny young bride. As an older. size 16 woman I was still made to feel like I mattered and it was important that I felt happy with my purchase. Thank you ladies you were both wonderful. X
I had a lovely experience with the ladies at Somerset Bridal, and would definitely recommend paying them a visit if you’re on the hunt for your wedding dress!nnBooking an appointment was really easy on their website, and being able to look at the specific dress and designers they stock on their website was amazing, especially as I was looking to track down some specific styles and designers!nnAt my first appointment the ladies were so lovely and accommodating for me, my mum and my maid of honour, they listened to all my needs and preferences. After selecting a few styles to try on, we whizzed through trying them on - which at first I was a bit taken aback by, but I actually think this really helped me to narrow down my dress choices rather than have time to dwell on dresses that I ultimately didn’t like. I only mention this particular aspect of the appointment because it’s quite different to my previous experiences at bridal shops, where stylists have kind of allowed me to wear the dress for a while and fixate on things that I did or didn’t like. I came away with a dress that I was and still am absolutely in love with, so it works! I ended up picking a Stella York dress which is so different to what I ever thought I’d go with, but I’m so glad I chose it.nnOnce my dress arrived with the boutique I was kept up to date and invited to collect, which was another lovely appointment. Thank you Somerset Bridal for making my wedding dress dreams come true!
