If you’re considering whether or not to go for PT training then go for it!! Craig at Soma has been brilliant. A dedicated workout plan created based on my personal goals. 2 months in and already feeling stronger. Great variety in the workouts and clear instructions, on top of a plan to do from home too. Highly recommended.
I decided to move from the UK to Sydney 2 months ago and so wanted to get into shape pretty swiftly. I chose to go with Stelios from Soma Fitness. I would 10000% recommend Stelios to anyone who wants a personal trainer. He is extremely knowledgeable and tailored our workout and my food plan to work along my lifestyle whilst driving the weight goals we set out together. We communicated regularly and he always went above and beyond to provide helpful tips to keep me on track. Above all Stelios is a very lovely person and was a delight to work with and I would reccomend him to anyone. Thanks Stelios for all your help
I have now used Soma twice over the last 10 years. The first time, Stelios did an amazing job in getting me fitter and stronger than ever before - and did it in a way that was fun and challenging. This time I have Johnny. He is also an excellent fit. The gym has been improved in every way since my last visits. Johnny is helping me get over a long-term injury and I now feel as fit and strong as ever and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with Soma.
Soma fitness is one of best fitness Gyms I have been fortunate enough to be a part of. The equipment is versatile and very carefully selected. The environment is extremely comfortable, safe and inspiring. My two teenage children and I have been training with Stelios for a year now and we love it. I came with a few injuries and struggled to go beyond a certain level of training. But with the right guidance I feel the strongest I have ever felt. My children have been safely guided by Stelios towards a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to him they love working out and look forward to their sessions at Soma every week without ever missing. They have the confidence to join a gym on their own and workout alongside their PT. We love soma fitness and will definitely be continuing our journey with them for a very long time. The professionalism and service experienced at Soma Fitness are top-notch. There is not a one size fits all program, everything is personalised and tailored to your needs and desires. The 3 PTs: Stelios, Sam, and Jonny are friendly and always made me feel welcome. Sam my trainer is an excellent trainer whom I have gotten very good results after only a couple months of training! He is very knowledgeable and empathetic and does his best to get the most out of me each session. I always leave our sessions feeling well even if I have had a difficult day before. I highly recommended Soma fitness for personal training.
I came to soma fitness with a really bad mechanical problem with my spine, an injury I have had for around 5 years since I was 15 and during that time lost a lot of stability in my back and struggled with regular day to day activities making exercises basically impossible. I contacted Soma to seek some professional advice as to how I could begin to get fit whilst being cautious and careful of my injury. I booked a block of 10 sessions with Sam. Not only was Sam instantly helpful in assessing my issue and finding exercises that were best for me but also helped my motivation massively. He’s very knowledgeable in back/spine related problems and general gym and fitness & lifestyle advice. Sam’s a really easy person to get along with and I really enjoyed the sessions. He was always available to contact outside of sessions and provide me with extra material to help me. I’ve completed my block of 10 sessions and since then have been in the gym daily for several weeks. I’ve felt the fittest I have since my back issue occurred and I can carry out movements I didn't think I could possibly do before training with Sam. I really feel like I'm back on the road to recovery now and I don't think this would have been possible if I hadn't contacted Soma and started training with them. Couldn't recommend Soma fitness enough to other people trying to get started in fitness.
I’ve been training with Sam for 5 or 6 months now and can’t speak highly enough of him and of the SOMA experience. He makes sure every rep at every session counts and my programme is constantly updated to reflect my progress, as are my nutritional targets. Where Sam also adds value is in his breadth of knowledge and experience covering nutrition, training, biomechanics, rehabilitation of injuries etc. Prior injuries that have previously been triggered by training have been absent due to the knowledgeable approach, focus on good form and construction of a programme that addresses root cause. Every session is tough but fun. As well as being thoroughly professional, Sam is a great positive person to work with.
I have been training at Soma for over 10 years with a few breaks, firstly with Stelios and currently with Martin. The great thing about them is that they listen to you to establish your goals and then set realistic targets to help you achieve them. By working closely with one trainer they get to know your body and can tailor the training to help you to recover from any injuries, I have had knee problems for a few years but the area specific workout routines have helped to alleviate a lot of the issues I have had. I can thoroughly recommend Soma to anyone who is looking to lose weight, improve fitness or looking at post injury rehab.
I have been coming to Soma twice a week for just under two years as I thought weights would be good for my well being and health. I was already doing quite a lot of cardio so the two together have worked very well. Stelios is very knowledgeable about nutrition and all aspects of training which instills a lot of confidence. Soma is a very well equipped gym with a welcoming, non-intimidating environment, which can sometimes be apparent in larger gym complexes. Highly recommended.
As a father son duo we have really enjoyed using Stelios over the past 4 years! We have both benefited from his very personal approach to our training programmes no mean feat considering a 30 year age gap! and he has always created a fun and comfortable environment for us to work out in. Stelios is a great guy and it wouldn’t be over the top to say that he has really become a “friend of the family”… we can’t speak highly enough of his approach to resistance training which has improved both our physical health and mental well-being. We look forward to many more sessions of training and becoming faster, better, stronger in the process
