Driver tried to run me off the rd and then assaulted me they need to have a look at their recruitment process and not hire violent drivers as would not be safe for anyone using their services. Maybe dbs check staff at least as a minimum to safeguard passengers and other road users. Just waiting to see if the company take any action.
Booked return trip to the races with Leon at their depot following email quote. Dave our driver was superb on the day as was the quality of the coach. Will be using them all the time going forward. Thank you.
I think that this bus service is terrible. I had to go home with my friend on the bus that goes to Austrey because i wouldve been left home alone, and all other family was too far away or didnt have bus service near. So i board the austrey bus and the bus driver, named del said “No no no, get off the bus you dont travel on this bus.” Which i replied “But i have to go home with my friend-“ and he cut me off saying “I dont care who your going home with get off the bus now.” Then i had to walk to Austrey for god knows how long. 1/5 stars terrible coach company.
My daughter has gone on a 5 hour trip, no aircon working all the kids were sweating. Plus to start with not enough seat. The last school trip they didn’t have enough seats plus 4 seat belts didn’t work.
Utter rubbish don't use them they never respond too your questions they just mention the same thing that I never asked about at all AVOID at ALL costs
I just want to say a massive thank you to one of the drivers Del. These guys do the school run for my daughter and the school messed up her after school club. Del came to drop my 4 year old daughter home but no one was in, he stayed with her for over 35mins till I was home. Much appreciated.
Terrible coach service, do not use this service rubbish
On the 13th July between 10-11am one of your coaches was in Dartmouth Devon. Dartmouth has, if you look on google maps extremely narrow roads and is difficult for parking for both coaches and cars. A lot of patient is needed in the town, whilst people pull in and out. I had parked my car on the road and two cars had blocked me in tight, so I was having to juggle my vehicle out. At the point of being nearly out I saw one of your coaches coming up the side of me and not hesitating. Thinking he may not have seen me, I turned to look at the driver. The response was many verbal and hand gestures, all abusive. I couldn’t hear him so I got out of my car and went over to ask him if he could just give me a few minutes to pull out, with this he put his window up and edged nearer to my car in an very aggressive and threatening manner. I did get out of my parking space eventually and the driver persisted to follow me round the one way system within an inch of my boot!! He also persisted in making W……K…..G. gestures and fingers up gestures and tapping his head to make reference to my sanity. Which is quite laughable considering his actions. Luckily he had dropped his passengers off, so they did not have to experience his behaviour. That would have been great advertising for your company !!!! . All of the above has been caught on my car camera. I do not wish this gentleman any malice, but I do think that the company needs to tackle his aggressive, menacing driving and teach him to have patience in difficult driving environments. AFTER ALL HE IS REPRESENTING THE COMPANY. He may have had personal issues that he thinks negates his behaviour, but nothing negates aggressive, dangerous and menacing behaviour. I DO HOPE HE IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE WHOLE COMPANIES ATTITUDE TOWARDS OTHER DRIVERS.
Had a fantastic trip to Paignton with a great driver Martin and his lovely lady Hazel. The coach was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We were looked after very well, I felt that Martin and Hazel were great ambassadors for the company. I recommend anyone thinking of booking a coach trip to consider Solus.
Seems like another case of reckless driving and driving without due care and attention in Rushden around 5pm today. In an attempt to use the size of the geriatric driver’s vehicle to try and intimidate me by knowingly preventing me from joining traffic without any choice by speeding up to close the gap and having to then slam on the brakes to try and prove a point. He then proceeded to drive aggressively and queue jump down the A6 and then bully his way across traffic himself whilst going around the Chowns Mills roundabout. Seems a shame to rubbish the company over things like this but if your going to employ negligent drivers they are the face of the business after all. I certainly wouldn’t want to be a passenger.
