So unreliable, they turn up anytime if at all. One day last week the number 3 arrived in town, on time hooray only for the driver to get off, muttering 'changing drivers'. No driver turned up and the bus was missed out. And the number 8 bus seems to leave town ok, only to disappear into thin air. Many times I've waited to get the bus back into town and it's cancelled or very late. So much for encouraging people to use public transport. We could do with another bus company, maybe Arriva would up their game if they had some competition. As it is they are not fit for purpose.
Twice in one week, I've experience a driver on the 110 going straight past the stop... On Monday drove straight past with the out of service sign still on.. As it's the first stop out of tamworth town.obviously forgot to change it. This morning he just drove straight past I was on time and visable, he was going to fast to stop after coming through the lights at Market Street.. I understand this is a long route and incidents can happen via b. Ham.. But thus is a bus on its first stop out if town... Perhaps a bit more customer service and less racing for break stops!!!
We were running to the bus with 2 children to the bus in the Tamworth Belgrave area. It was still a little while before we arrived at the bus station. It was raining very hard. He didn't want to wait for us. Very disappointed. It is more important to respect the schedule than to respect people.

I live in Tamworth and I regularly have to use the bus service as I am disabled. I have a bus pass and the bus service in this town is absolutely rubbish. I struggle with mobility due to having sciatica but can walk with difficulty. My partner is epileptic and relies on an electric wheelchair so she uses the bus is quite regularly same as my friend also has to rely on a mobility scooter and uses the bus is readily. The bus service in Tamworth is complete rubbish. The drivers are rude arrogant and think they can do whatever they want. The bus driver sit around talking or driving to the bus station, then just drive past you with no service on. I would not recommend this bus company for any time as I think the best thing to do with a river in Tamworth is to get rid of it as they are completely terrible.
Busses always come late, overpriced tickets, dirty and cold busses. Nothing else to say, the worst bus company of all, no organisation, whatsoever.
A bit expensive if you're only doing a short journey even worse if you need to use two buses from Arriva and a different company. Quite unreliable: bus not on time or that never shows up, a driver who doesn't stop even if you're waving at him... It would be great if a timetable was available at the bus stops too. It would also be great if inside the bus you'd have the information about what the next stop is. If you don't know Tamworth very well and where exactly the stops are, I'm not sure how you get off the bus at the right time, unless you're able to follow your journey via Google Maps, which not everybody is able to do. Overall it's not a surprise if people don't use public transport in Tamworth
More recently the busses specifically the number 8 and 110 have been consistently late from times to a couple minutes to even a full hour and just recently I have seen about 4 buss drivers all having a break while around 10 to 20 people where waiting for their busses. Please fix the timetables and hire more consistent and reliable drivers
My daughter has started her new job she catches the number 7 as today 3/11/23 she has waited 45 mins for her bus and now 2 come at once , what a joke this company has become and now she is going to lose an hours money with no comment from the driver
Arriva management I will be submitting a complaint about the 110 service Tamworth to Birmingham and duly submit my review to accompany it. A new timetable has been published as at September 2022 but it is a total waste of time. Buses are constantly late or cancelled. The app is a little more accurate but there are never any alerts to show there is an issue which there obviously is. I have waited patiently for the service to improve but it has not. My vulnerable son has waited 2.5 hours in Birmingham from 5pm today and finally got home 8.15pm. The digital signs were totally misleading stating the bus times only for each one not to show up. There wasnt an alert on the app so we had no idea if and when a bus would turn up. Please do not publicise timetables if you cannot deliver them. Please remove the digital bus stopsigns if they are not correct. Please make sure the app info is upto date or what is the point in having it?! Please tell your customers if you have an issue ... lack of staff perhaps? You are just being totally disrespectful to your waiting customers.
