I have been using the Solihull Kumon Centre for around 2 years now. I started my children off with the Maths Kumon very young and it is the best thing I ever did!. Laura is not only a meticulous instructor, she always listens to your needs/concerns and provides challenging work to cater for your individual child. The staff here are amazing, friendly and yet professional at all times. My children have made great progress thanks to Laura and the team. I always feel like I can contact Laura to ask any questions whatever time of day it is and always feel re-assured with the help and guidance she gives. I have been so pleased with this Kumon team that I enrolled my youngest child much earlier than I had planned. He is only 3 yet confidently does his Kumon every morning and is very keen to please the Kumon team so he can earn his weekly stickers. I would absolutely recommend this centre to anybody thinking of joining.
I cannot recommend the Kumon centre - Tudor grange enough. Laura is a fantastic instructor. She’s kind and patient with the children and offers excellent advice to parents to enable every child to achieve their full potential academically. My eldest son studied Kumon maths for over 2 years and his mental maths skills are fantastic now.He has gained so much confidence from studying Kumon maths and this has enabled him to really excel at school. It’s also taught him the valuable life skill that if you put the work in you will reap the rewards and he’ll be the first to say how much it’s helped him. My youngest started Kumon maths and English last year, it was a struggle to begin with as he really lacked confidence but he’s gradually getting there and it’s lovely to see how much Kumon has helped him, he finds school so much easier and appreciates what he can achieve if he puts the work in. I honestly can’t recommend Kumon enough.
Solihull Kumon is a friendly centre with a welcoming atmosphere. Laura is an excellent instructor with years of Kumon experience. She builds solid relationships with each family, accommodating to every child’s individual needs. Having been a part of this centre for numerous years it has become clear that hard work pays off and Kumon can benefit children of all ages and abilities, enabling each child to reach their full potential.
Both my children Ciara and James have been Kumon students for many years now. Kumon has undoubtedly aided them in successfully gaining entry to their chosen grammar and independent schools. I cannot recommend Kumon highly enough, both as a parent and as a teacher. Laura is a very dedicated instructor who has a long history of association with Kumon. She cares deeply about her students. She manages her centre with an approach where "Every Child Matters" Thank you Laura!
The Solihull Kumon Centre has really helped my daughter improve her maths skills. She has become more confident, is more focused and the daily practice exercises have helped her speed and accuracy. Thanks to the team, she has started enjoying maths in School too. Many thanks to Laura and the team.
Kumon’s Maths has been very instrumental in my son successfully passing his entrance tests to get into a grammar school. It has immensely helped him to focus, work faster with great amount of accuracy and also solve mathematical problems mentally. My son is a very bright student and Kumon had offered all the challenges to motivate him further and be ahead of his peers. He has enjoyed his 3 years of studying Kumon at Solihull, Tudor Grange Centre under the leadership of Laura. It has also helped him to work independently. I would recommend parents to start Kumon at a young age to take maximum benefit from Kumon at Solihull Centre and a very big THANK YOU to Laura and her team.
Both my children started Kumon with a Laura from the ages of nearly 5 my son and nearly 3 my daughter. I wasn’t intending on starting both of them but my daughter showed an interest- and Laura said why not try her! There are so many positives to share.. I guess of course the mental arithmetic & understanding of maths is incredible to see in young children. The confidence they gain from seeing Laura weekly, showing her respect and listening to her and working hard for her is amazing. Watching your young children go into a room without you, sit at a desk with someone they may not know & study can only instil good habits for when they are older. What I also love is the fact the kumon helpers have all done it themselves so you see 16-65 year old adults giving and sharing their knowledge with the younger generation. Laura always offers you advice as a parent and a tutor which is always sensible and right your child. I am often asked by parents I recommend Kumon to do I think its expensive.. my answer is always the same.. you cannot put a price on children learning a skill for life and using the largest muscle in their body to the best of its ability. It’s by far worth every penny and meeting Laura has been a blessing for my children.
Been taking my son here for the last 7 years. He is head & shoulders above his class mates in school. Laura is a very friendly and professional tutor and all of her staff are polite, knowledgeable and helpful. My son enjoys attending the class each week and is particularly fond of his tutor Kelvin. An excellent center and I'm thankful I found it. Ranked one of the top 5 centers in the region of Europe and Africa. Can't ask for better !
I tutored at the Kumon Solihull centre for about 3 months. There is a great team at Kumon with Laura heading it. You generally find that the tutors like myself have done Kumon Maths so know how to help and can sympathise with the student. The centre is split up into the older and younger groups. The thing that impressed me about the Solihull centre having taught at other Kumon centres in the area is the high ratio of teachers to students. This translates into one teacher sitting on each table with about 3 students so they can get help if they need it. Every so often there are free trials for a month so I'd recommend checking it out. As a qualified accountant I'd hope I've learnt something from Kumon!
