My children have all had tutoring at the Shirley Centre over the past 10 years. I have been very impressed with the standard and approach of tutoring. The length of time I have been with the centre is a testament to making a real difference to my children's education and attainment in school and they are all now excelling in secondary school and college. They were just that bit ahead of the class in what they were learning at school and the tutoring sessions consolidated the learning done in school. My youngest son also took the 11 plus tutoring course which was absolutely on the mark and my son passed the 11 plus exam with flying colours and will be attending Camp Hill Boys school this year. I can't thank the managers and tutors enough for their dedication in making sure that the children get that head start in their education through the tutoring sessions. A special thanks to Aysha who was great through out the 11 plus course answering all my queries as a parent and going above and beyond in providing extra study materials helping my son pass the 11 plus exam. This is a very worth while investment in your child's future. I would thoroughly recommend the explore learning Shirley centre to all parents to enable their children to gain a head start in the foundation years of their education journey leading to exceptional outcomes.
Explore have helped my son come on leaps and bounds. Our son really struggled in maths after missing a chunk of important basic facts during COVID. By the start of year 6 his confidence was in shreds. Explore worked with him building him up on the basics, and then progressing at his pace to the level he should be working at. They are so helpful, patient and kind. I will recommend them to everyone. An amazing team. Thank you so much!
Explore Learning at Shirley has been really helpful in preparing my son for his year 6 SATs. All the teachers are lovely and helpful. They have listened to our requirements and tailor-made his lessons to focus on the areas where he needed most practice. In addition, my son loves the sessions and goes at the centre willingly. I am planning to continue these sessions throughout his secondary schooling, as I can see they are really beneficial to him. Very highly recommended!
We have been with Explore for 2 years now and I can certainly say that we are delighted with Explore-Shirley and the team, they are kind, knowledgeable, and caring. My son enjoys his sessions every week!
Our Daughter was struggling with Maths, and so we decided to try Explore learning. Not only have her grades improved, but more importantly, so has her confidence. The Staff at the Shirley branch were friendly and supportive, and really made our Daughter feel comfortable and able to ask for help, should she need it. We can’t recommend them highly enough, and thank them for all their support.
One of the best tuition centres my son is attending, and will be signing my daughter there too. All The team and managers are absolutely friendly and easy to communicate with. My son had his 11plus tuition here, and he passed with a promising grade. 100% would recommend Explore Learning, my child wouldn’t have been ahead of his school work without explore. Thanks EL.
