We were fairly impressed by the offering of the shop. Prices were expected for SA imports The wors and dröewors were extremely salty. The wors also released a lot of fat and water when cooked. Meat quality 1/10 Would I go again? Maybe.
Our monthly biltong and boerewors treat. I'm so happy I found this place in 2010, we've been on a monthly spree since then.
Droewors was so extremely salty, I was raised on droewors and bolting as a kiddo in South Africa so I know what it should taste like. We got a 1kg bag and the whole bag was very very salty......we need another SA food shop.
The woman that works in this shop is very rude and has no customer services manners or attitude. I asked her for a price for a bottle of Mazoe her response was :- £9 and has been for a year walking away. Even my daughter was shocked and asked if she didn't want to save us. I was shocked with her attitude and behaviour let alone the high price for 1 litre bottle of drink. I will shop elsewhere from now if desperate for SA food. Hunters biltong in Dagenham and Savannah is best and competitive, also a new shop Kwajaman is cheaper. I am done with food4U‍‍‍!!
All my favourite SA foods and the meats are fresh from their butcher, had farmhouse boerewors and spatchcock peri chicken- tasted great on the braai! Very helpful lady that works here, helped me with my shopping to the car. Looking forward to stocking up again!
Great customer service from these guys. They're only a small business so when it's busy it pays to be patient. I've always found the service to be very personal and would highly reccomend the store for all your Southern African needs and cravings! The Biltong and Wors is some of the best I've come across this side of the world.
Great customer service , Biggest range of South African goods , the biltong and drywors the best tasting I have found in the UK. The prices are very very good on all stock.
I love this shop, very friendly staff and helpful. Always get my Zimbabwean products from them. I love their chili bites absolutely gorgeous!! Guys keep up the good work!
Worst customer service ever, I used to buy a lot of SA foods from here. I think the lady got upset about me mentioning that other stores are cheaper on some products. I will never buy from this shop ever..I will take my money to Hunters in Barking.
Complete and utter rubbish! No communication from this company and when challeneged about they way they work and their definition of NEXT day delivery , I was feed a whole lot of nonsense !!! There are better places out there for your South African needs! This company has no clue about customer service or any desire for repeat custom! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
