One of my favorite coffee places in London. Very distinctive and vibrant, located in Soho, next to wonderful shops to get lost in. The pastry and coffee or cacao, literally everything I’ve tried there was amazing. I’ve been there over 5 times already and each time it was an amazing experience. Like the whole Scandinavian wine behind it, definitely a place to enjoy fika culture.
We really enjoyed Soderberg. Coffee was very good, and we a high standard for coffee. The chocolate cake was great, awesome texture, not over the top sweet. Really nice option for a refreshing break if you are exploring the west end
Really lovely baked goods. Had the Marzipan tart , which in itself is worth a return visit. As someone who visits a coffee shop to sit down and have a coffee and grab something to eat. I appreciate the no laptop policy on some of the tables. Have too many times not been able to sit in other establishments because of people nursing one coffee to use their laptop.
interior was lovely & spacious big tables good for studying! food was delicious though portions were smaller than I expected. server was a bit inconsiderate when clearing the table. overall, fab experience and would come again!
Nice and cosy cafe with two floors though the wifi was weak downstairs. It does get a bit busy/noisy though so it’s not an ideal place to go if you want somewhere quiet. We enjoyed the food and coffee and like how there are small booths you can go into if you’re in a group
Went with my friends. We're frequent coffee drinkers, we all think the flat white topped our list in London. Recommend the cinnamon bun - was filling, wafted with cinnamon scent, and tasted good. The atmosphere was cozy and chill, definitely a good spot to hangout and catchup with friends.Food: 5/5
Planned to go to this place few weeks in advance with my friend. Got very much disappointed. When we came there the shelve was almost empty with few remaining flat buns. We ordered them, and of course they were not tasty. Buns were hard and dry. No fluff, no moist, no enjoyment. Seems like they served us some leftovers from failed batch, because by the time we finished they refilled shelves with new buns that looked much better. Seems like they serve to customers whatever come from the oven with low quality bar.
The girl serving us was talking to a coworker while I was waiting for my receipt, she looked a bit annoyed at me for asking and just gave me the POS ticket and left without me getting the actual receipt so my friend and I could figure out how to split the bill. We did the math on our poached eggs, extras and service charge on our own, but it wasn’t the nicest experience especially if you’re not used to the usual 12.5% service you pay in the UK which my friend wasn’t. My poached eggs arrived with no extra caramelised onion although the cashier confirmed it was added on to the right dish; my friend got extra onions instead. I got my onions later after speaking to the other worker. My friend’s extra avocado had plenty of chilli flakes on it, which we didn’t know when ordering - just something to keep in mind if you’re avoiding spicy foods. The “pancetta” they serve is just bacon strips. Over half of the whites on my poached eggs were uncooked there was more than shown on the pic I took. The creme fraiche sauce I was expecting was less of a sauce and more of a spread on the toast. On the bright side, the other girl working there was friendly, they had pretty display flowers and the toilet was really clean.
delicious waffles, friendly staff, and nice seating. was lucky to nab a seat as it was so busy! coffee was a little underwhelming but not bad.
Average place. The potential this place has is incredible and hurts to see such a business in PRIME location of london not tapping to their potential! Decor is nice but I think a splash of colour or maybe white inside and something more catchy on outside would do wonders to grab more attention! I been in london and working in soho for many years, never popped up on my to go to areas or never noticed it walking past it The food was … fine and unfortunately overpriced, I’d say 5-7 would be more appropriate. The coffee - had high hopes, it was terrible. It felt like coffee was canteen quality. Hire or train servers to barista levels. Making quality coffee is not something anyone can pick up, I know I sound snobby here but believe me, there are coffee shops a few doors away and do incredible tasting coffee for same if not cheaper price. The potential is insane please tap into it. I drink coffee often and unfortunately I wouldn’t come here to spent 3.40 on a below average coffee. Please replace the glassware for water, they seem very dirty and has stains. One of them had food bits on the inside.
