Beer tasted funny... The boss/owner gives creep vibes, me and my friends felt very uncomfortable
Enjoyed our trip to Sobar. It was mod weekend so very busy. Brilliant band playing. The place was buzzing! We managed to watch football on the screens too! All ages young and not so young!
We went here with my brother, his wife and collectively 4 dogs between us on a Saturday night about 7 , the doorman were very friendly and good humoured and we all appreciate them letting us in seeing as it was a Saturday night and obviously a popular place for the 20 plus , we left at 9 before it got busy.
My wife and I got kicked because she complained there was no toilet roll in the toilets. Not aggressively. We are both in out late 40s and it was only 9pm. No excuse apart form the toilets not being checked. The manageress did not like being told there was no excuse. Made my wife apologise because she found some toilet roll in one cubicle out of 3, and when she pointed out that there was still none in the other 2, called the bouncer to get us out. Even the bouncer looked embarrassed. So its ok if you ladies don't mind drip drying, just don't complain.
Amazing Manchester inspired music, house, dnb, techno. Amazingly friendly staff and clientele. Light shows that are far superior to most clubs nights in Manchester and with an atmosphere of organisations
Awful greeting by the aggressive bouncer. Even though we had booked he was hostile and rude. Upon eventually being allowed into the bar the bar man who came to our table was rude and unaccommodating and came to our table without a mask. We promptly left.
Great new wine bar. A good selection of wines, beers and spirits. Good decor. Nice crowd. A great addition to Whalley high street.

Wow, this place has gone from a pretty sleek establishment to a tinpot 'sports bar' absolutely filled with chavs. Severely disappointed on my most recent visit after it used to be a goto in the Clitheroe area for me!
I love so bar. The table footy is great in here. Bouncers very friendly
