Great camping spot. The facilities were good and well situated and the owner was very relaxed. There is a pizza shed open at weekends, a small collection of washing machines and tumble dryers. There imare also fire pits to use alongside a small tin shed with some sofas with a great view of the local area. Restrooms: Rest rooms were modern and in good condition.
Great little place, fire pits.. what more do you need. 2 toilets and 2 showers, even though I went at the morning rush hour.. I did not need to wait for either. I also managed a last min booking the night before, thanks to someone not showing up Saturday night.. they definitely missed out. Ted was very accommodating and a friendly chap. Pitches are well spaced, quiet.. electricity available on a couple of pitches. Pizzas available Friday and Saturday nights, I don't really like pizza but had to try one, tasked great, not to mention the Welsh Cider.
Fabulous campsite. Nice private pitches. There s access to a lovely deep plunge pool to swim in. Pizza s on Friday and Saturday and kebab/burger/chip van in the field next door. The owner is very friendly and trusting and is a pleasure to deal with. Thank you. We will be back.
We love this place! Beautiful views of Snowdon, right by the river for awesome daily swims or paddleboarding, out of town but walkable if you want to, lovely hot showers, facilities always clean and nice to use, and great pizza and beer on Friday and Saturday nights. Great vibes and lovely people. Thanks Ted for another awesome stay!
A great site, not too crowded, access to the river for kayaking and swimming and fantastic pizzas. Ted was also a very friendly and accommodating host. We will return. Thanks
This is a really nice campsite, a little bit more basic/rustic but great if simple is what you need. The facilities are all really clean and well kept. The gentleman who owns/runs the site is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a river that runs alongside the site when you can launch a canoe and go for an explore!
Nice weekend, not too far from home. Set up was good, nice distance between each pitch and facilities were as expected. Pizza available Friday and Saturdays if you don't fancy cooking. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away for the weekend.
Lovely site for wildlife and swimming. The plunge pool is great for swimming, deep clear water is accessed by a ladder or swim up/down the river. While i swam a kingfisher flew back and forth, a heron perched in a tree and fish could be seen jumping or flies, perfect. The pitches are mown from a meadow with some wild flowers and well spaced out, butterflies and bees were flitting about. Later on we watched a mole come out of the long grass looking for food before retreating down a hole, owls could also be heard. There is a lovely walk from the campsite to LLanberis. Booked at short notice, i was told to call when i arrive, the call was answered promptly and i was shown to my pitch, supplied with an adapter and told where the plunge pool / showers etc are by a friendly owner. The facilities were clean but I've knocked one star off because the small shared shower/toilet block made me feel uncomfortable , i would rather have separate male and female facilities.
Amazing place for a nature reconnect and get away from the city and all the noices. Lots of space between pitches, your own river basen to swim just out of the camping area, chilled atmosphere, all the needed facilities plus extra couple of canoes for us to enjoy beautiful river included in the price! Our chihuahua loved it! Even the boat! Pizza on Fridays and Saturdays is amazing! Something you have to try! Lots of good energy from the owner and guideness about the surroundings so we could really appreciate the nature around us. We loved it! Thank you!
Great camp site with good size individual pitches separated by uncut grass. Great mountain views from site with the river running alongside which is great for a dip, swim ,kayak or paddleboard. Good facilities. Will definatly be back Thanks Ted for being so welcoming
