Probably best decision of my life was to sign up to a Snow Rehab course! I went to Big White in 2014 and had the best 12 weeks! Amazing accommodation, awesome trainers and some incredible extra activities! After talking with people on similar courses Snow Rehab offers the best package at a really good price without sacrificing quality! If you want to become a snowsports instructor, choose a Snow Rehab training course!
I Have had two Great Experiences with snow Rehab. the First time training for my CSIA level1/2 and secondly my CASI level1/2. Prior to starting my courses Snow rehab were always there to offer help and information on equipment and clothing required that is necessary to make life easier on the mountain but also jus for a good chat on how much we all love and miss the mountain. Was Great to go and meet the crew at manchester chill factor on the come ride nights that snow rehab offer so that people get to meet people rather than just on the phone or over an email. once out on the mountain both years we had great Reps with us to make sure we new were and when we needed to be there, there was great of snow activities and one thing that snow rehab offers which no one else did was an awesome day back country skiing which will be remembered for the rest of my life as the best day on snow ill ever see. over all snow rehab come across as a family and i see myself now as part of that family. they will always have my recommendation, join the snow rehab family and you can change your career but also you will have the best 2 / 6 / 12 weeks out in Canada that you will ever have on snow.
I was on the 12 week, level 1&2 snowboard instructor course @ Big White and bloody loved it! I had been itching to go for 4 years and when I was finally in the position to go, I went for it. You won't regret an experience like this one. The thing that makes Snow Rehab stand out from the crowd is the attention to detail they take for each participant. It's a smaller operation run by Gordo, the founder of rehab and his team. He wants you to have the best time possible and will help you settle nicely. We hit the powder hard for the first period before training - it was a perfect taster of Big White and things to come. I was on the summit package, the full shabang! Snow-mobiling, Revelstoke Cat Skiing trip a breathtaking mountain, Kelowna ice hockey trip, first aid and avalanche courses. I'd recommend the upgrade fo sure. Big White resort was spot on - 10 METRES of snow landed in the 2015/2016 season, it was chucking it down big every few days, fluffy dry powder, absolutely spoilt for fresh lines and techy tree runs, which became my favourite thing to do. You can really challenge yourself on the mountain, although it will suit any ability if you aren't confident yet. Trees are plentiful at Big White, and every time it dumps there is new areas to explore. Then there's the ski in/ski out accommodation - I lived in a stunning townhouse with squillions of space for 3 lads, which ended up 2 lads for the majority of the time we broke Tom. I had a south facing balcony with a hot tub where I caught the sunrise just about every morning before training. Total bliss. I could walk up a path beside the house and I was on an easy run to a chair lift, nice when you're finding your feet first thing in the morning or fancy a cheeky run on your days off. Last but not least is the credit due the top instructors that you will spend 12 weeks with. They are your mates and have top craic like anyone else. They loved taking the rehab crew as much as we appreciated their knowledge. Our crew was smaller than the other groups so we could squeeze in more snow time, therefor improving a lot quicker than everyone else, which in turn means they can take you down their favourite tree runs and cliff drops. Video evidence included! They have camera phones and they'll capture you're amazingness. So, if you're looking for an ultimate trip then you've got yourself just that with Snow Rehab. Worth every penny and certainly a head above the rest if you ask me! Peace & Pow, Fras
Terrible organisation. Accommodation problems, courses not organised properly. Deposits not returned. Avoid like the plague.
