I persuaded our group to go here for dinner, mainly because I love history and I was fascinated by the fact it had wooden beams from the Spanish Armada in it. Although that was very interesting as was the history of the place, the best bit was the food, which was excellent. We all enjoyed the meal and atmosphere of the place. The staff were super friendly and I was hailed as a genius for choosing the place!
Food was so delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were spectacular. An absolute must
Wow, wow and more wow.nnWhat a find, especially for Sunday lunch. We absolutely loved our traditional roast here for five. Everything was cooked to perfection, the staff were amazing and the ambience sublime.nnRecommend you book in advance for this first class hot spot. A credit to Looe and the standard that many restaurants should be aiming for!
Another absolutely lovely meal here. The food is top notch. Quality food, excellent cooked and presented. Service is the best, lovely, polite and attentive. Atmosphere is just really suited to the place. Thoroughly recommend.nnWe had the salmon, mixed grill on skewer and posy beef and reef, followed by the creme brulee and cheesecake.
This was a old and very cosy restaurant, you do need to book as it is not very large. We went here twice, the first time we had fish.nSeabass fillet and plaice,it came with potatoes, chips and vegetables that you served yourself at the table, the second time we had steak this came with the same sides.nFor desserts we had, pannacota, cheesecake.
