Had a lovely piece of haddock and excellent curly fries, large menu,would recommend and return, returned and had the chicken breast lovely and onion rings  hellish , the chicken strips are fantastic

Seemed to wait forever, kebab was dry and burnt, no pot of garlic mayo, minimal salad.nChips were ok, fish was good. Curry sauce was minging.

Really wish this wasn’t highly rated as it was a wasted trip to here. Very over cooked cod bites and chips were cooked oddly as well. Most were hard and definitely too much salt on everything. Hard to park and get to, I wouldn’t waste your time trying here if you just wanted your standard fish and chips.

I've been waiting to visit Ben's Plaice since they opened! Heard great reviews, and seen gorgeous photos on Facebook. Tonight, we visited and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Super friendly and helpful staff, and freshly cooked food. The selection of food available on the specials board is impressive, as I've never seen so much choice in a chippy before. Keep up the great work, and we look forward to trying out other dishes next time we pop in!

Visiting Cornwall, see this was rated best in Cornwall last year. Can't say I can back that as I haven't tried them all, but it's the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Great service, friendly staff, top food!
