after our car window broke we got referred to this garage and we had a great experience them! lovely and honest people. couldn’t recommend the fabulous vicky and her team more.

Just witnessed one of there drivers in a van today snorting something up his nose off his hand. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at him at know is a coke head. Poor imagine your driver giving your company. Doing that in a company vehicle at traffic lights is a disgrace.

I booked a service from SMS Motor to replace my car cambelt in November 2022. They arrived on time and delivered the car the same day.nnA year later last week, when I wanted to part exchange my vehicle, I have been told noise coming from the engine is due to cambelt therefore needs further work and lowered the valuation, I have been to other dealers to hear the same conclusion regarding the engine. I had the invoice as proof of work but due to noise mechanics were still not convinced.nnNot an expert myself, I have no idea if the noise is due to cambelt or another reason.nIf what the other mechanics said is true, I have been driving this car for the last year thinking its cambelt is replaced, which apparently not safe at all.nnSMS Motor offered a check when I contacted them but at this point, it is very likely they will either say it is all ok which I will still need to convince other dealers/mechanics that the work is done, or they will come up with another reason for the noise and a quote to repair or they will replace it now which won’t change the fact I drove an unsafe car for the last year.

Extremely poor service. Would strongly recommend to avoid this garage.nnProviding some more detailsn- called for MOT and indicated that the engine light is on due to some software issuen- promised by SMS phone operator that they will reset the software before doing the MOT. If the warning light comes back again, then it will be a fail which I was Ok with.nHe indicated that the MOT price after this discussion.n- on the day of the MOT , mentioned the same to the person taking the car. He indicated that he has seen this before and will reset it before MOTnBut what happened was subsequently the MOT was done fully knowing that it would fail without any resetnOn calling later, the operator was answering very differently.nVery disappointed with the miscommunication.

Great brakes replacement service from SMS today. Picked up my car from home before 8am and returned it to me before 1pm.  Good communications throughout.  Would recommend.
