Been coming here for years always good foodFood: 4/5
I'm skeptical of reviewers now, misleading, this place was the worst takeaway I've had and I'm a large bloke I know my food, the kebab was that rubbery bottom of the suppliers list stuff, chips okay, asked for a meat pie got potato and air, most importantly £7.50 for a large kebab, which had barely covered the chips, a few strands at best, hate running down small businesses but this guy needs to get his act together
Best local kebab. Really good fish. Weekdays fries are good. After weekend fries are too oily and smell funny but most of the time they are 5/5
Had meat & potato pie and chips but rather expensive at £4. Chips were nice but when challenged the guy serving said they are Holland pies!! Not end of the world stuff I know but its amazing how generally shops in areas of low incomes charge over the odds. My local chippy much cheaper and same quality.
Very nice tasty fish n chips. Although an extensive take out menu is available. Chicken, burgers. Kebabs. Good traditional take away food.
Chips are average even though you normally have to wait for them. With the latest prices and portion size I tend to go elsewhere now as they are cheaper, serve more and usually have chips ready too!!
A Very Sad Day Today - this was once the best Chip Shop by far in Warrington but is now probably the worse. I just paid £16 for some dry fish and dry chips for tea which was not fit or suitable for eating. This is very sad because I used to love the very high standards and the quality of their Fish & Chips but like all places eventually they drop their standards and go from being the best to being the worse. I would not be surprised if the meal that I have just bought had been sat in the warmer since lunchtime as that is how it appeared. This was one place in Warrington that you could rely upon but I won't be trusting them again as they have dropped their standards from being a 10/10 to a Zero out of 10.
My brother in law used to travel from Birchwood to get chips here and recommended here. I now live local and have used this place sometimes 2-3 times a week but their chips are hit and miss. Today's dish was grit and hard potato and the gravy didn't mask it. Last month we had soap flavour chips and I've had more than my share of green chips from here. I have a fish allergy so can't say anything about their fish. Its good to eat here when the spuds are good and cooked properly but.. Its a gamble
