Awfully dirty place, always there is police and scandal around this hotel, low prices attract all sorts of dodgy people, an absolute disgust. I will never understand why people chose this place, premier inn is just 1 min away on the other side of the roundabout, their rooms are about £35 going up, very cheap, decent place, and you know you’ll get a clean room, towels , and better service. No idea why people don’t have self respect and choose to sleep in this sort of place..
the worst and ugliest location I have ever stayed in. I don't know who gave them permission to operate as a hotel... an indescribable mess in the hallways and in the rooms, all the room doors don't lock, the common bathroom is quite ugly and dirty, I absolutely do not recommend anyone to stay here night. It's pathetic and disappointing. I booked a room with a private bathroom and received a shared bathroom. Go to traveloge or any other hotel, it's worth the money. I prefer to stay in the train station if I can't find anywhere else, than to go there. I do not recommend!
I stayed one night in this hotel, and was lucky to find it. It is a BUDGET hotel. I had the smallest room in the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and well ventilated. The staff member who happened to be present was very kind and helpful. I would like to give it 5 stars, for doing exactly what it says on the tin. Unfortunately the lock on my loose-fitting door didn't lock properly, so I will reluctantly knock off a star for that.
It's got poor ambience. The heating is poor, lighting is poor, had flies about. Don't visit Rooms: Poor heating and lighting. Bad smell. Uncomfortable beds.
More like a hostel/ construction site. •Bed made me itch. •Mattress must be 20year old. •TV didn't work.
Bad experience and service could and small bad and dirty room no toilet rool no towels leaks every where
Disgusting! Don't waste your time or your money. I wasn't expecting much however this place didn't meet my basic standards. The front door and room door were both insecure when we arrived. There were empty food packets, crusty socks and used covid masks littered around the room. The mattresses were lumpy and the bed sheets covered in stains. The bed slats were mostly broken with more rubbish hidden under the bed. The walls was scarred and stained. The kitchenette was filthy. 4 out of the 5 light bulbs in the room were blown. The toilets were unhygienic and didn't come with any toilet paper. Generally this place was dark, dirty and left me feeling like I didn't want to touch anything. The only good points was when we refused to stay there due to the condition of the place, we managed to get a full refund. Would not recommend.
This sounds over-the-top but this was literally the worst place I have ever stayed, including my backpacking experiences abroad. Markets itself as cheap and cheerful but it was neither - £30 sounds like a bargain but it was a rip-off for an unclean room without a functioning lock. No staff on site; no security measures; guests had to provide their own loo paper for the communal loo. I booked because I didn't care about comfort, but I felt unsafe. Never again
Very competent and friendly clean staff. It has no more than a bed and a small kitchen. Rooms are cleaned every day and beds become new sheets diary. I think it is more than fair for such a price 9£
Paid £19 with less than hour notice so was expecting a dive but got way more than a travelodge for half the price. Will definitely stay again. Room was clean and felt homely, its basically what passes as a studio flat now days
