Story

The Slug and Lettuce, Birmingham is in Brindley Place overlooking the canal - next to Symphony Hall and just two minutes' walk from the National Indoor Arena. With the National Sea Life Centre and Ikon Gallery also both on our doorstep, there's always plenty to do.

Can we call this a decent cocktail? This is suppose to be £9.75 yet what we received was half a glass of the advertised cocktail. When I questioned this I was simply told this was the ‘usual’ measurements and there was nothing that could be done. Surely a simple top up of the drink would be a solution as we had ordered 6 of these? Incredibly disappointed and won’t be coming back anytime soon. Very poor customer service. Just be careful, if you want a decent cocktail then this is not the place to come.

I've been here twice now and have enjoyed both occasions. Lovely food and pleasant staff too and it's in a bustling bit of the city centre.

A certainty of service with a smile here and nothing is too much to ask for. Wonderful staff and delicious food in a warm and friendly environment.

Visited with some colleagues for after work drinks, so it was nice to have a quiet atmosphere to wind down in. Service was great and so was the buy 1 get 1 free cocktails!

Booked an afternoon tea & cocktails for 8 ladies. Advised of 1 dietary requirement of gluten free. Paid deposit 4wks in advance & had email confirmation. Upon arrival today today was told they were unable to provide 1 booking of gluten free. Why didn't they advice of this prior to arrival. Completed ruined the experience.
