Slouch Bar, Kitchen & Venue

Story

Slouch Bar Restaurant & Venue hit Glasgow's Bath Street in September 2010.

Slouch has a team of chefs dedicated to using only the best locally sourced, seasonal produce. Our menus are full to bursting with homemade, hearty classics. You'll be full to bursting too once you have sampled one of our dishes. Remember and leave room for desserts.

Slouch was built on the idea that music lovers and those who love good quality food and drink are not mutually exclusive. Rock bars/Live music venues are not usually known for great service, homemade food and cocktails. Slouch is all these things and more.

We have an extensive cocktail list each one Unique to Slouch and designed by our staff themselves. Our biggest seller In Bloom is a variation on the classic Mojito replacing the soda water with Cranberry juice and adding raspberry and strawberry to the mix of mint and lime...its sublime. You have probably detected a theme by now. All our cocktails are named after a classic Rock N Roll tune. Try spending a Sunday working your way through the list and guessing the artists behind the names. Its a great way to spend a day off.

Slouch from its very conception has always been about music. We are dedicated to bringing the best in local talent up to seven nights a week. We are built on the concept that those who love music as much as we do will instantly find a new favourite haunt. We select our playlists daily from a handpicked library of 20,000 songs. Owned and operated by musicians we care about the local live music scene and want to see it thrive and live up to its reputation as the best live music city in the UK.

We hold a weekly acoustic session on a Monday night, Blues Kitchen Sundays feature live music from six until midnight, local promoter's book Wednesday through Saturday. At Slouch we always have something going on but the emphasis is on quality. Our passion for the music we love is evident from the second you walk through the door.

Run by musicians for musicians its our passion and knowledge that shines through.

At Slouch we are rockin till 3am Thursday through Sunday and its always free to get in. Our DJ's will have you dancing to the wee hours or just grab a booth and enjoy a drink and a chat.

Come on down we've been expecting you …

Incredibly curated cocktail menu! This was my first time in Glasgow and after reading reviews we decided to stop at Slouch for a few drinks. ‘Pop my Cherry’ is dangerously good, you can drink it all in one sip and beg for more! My personal favourite was ‘Black magic woman’ an amazing twist on the famous espresso martini. We went through cocktail menu in a beat, loved everything we tried! The staff was super friendly and quick. Slouch has lots of atmosphere, lots of space to be social but also secluded booth areas if you want to chill. 10/10 recommend
Went for lunch recently and very pleasantly surprised and impressed by their lunch menu! The interior is just a chill bar, I think it's usually popular amongst students so wasn't expecting them to be good at lunch. Would deffos make this spot my next sandwich place! Too good
Had a delicious lunch before heading to the King's Theatre. Salt n chilli chicken fries were amazing! Also had a surprise 20% off our meal with theatre tickets. Will definitely be returning. Lovely staff too.
Slouch has a great atmosphere, great food and great music. You can tell that the staff are passionate about what they do. The bar staff are friendly and go above and beyond for the customers, the cocktails are some of the best I’ve had in Glasgow! I would recommend Slouch to anyone whether you’re going for a date night or with a group as it’s always a good night! I will be back for sure
We had one evening in Glasgow and stopped here for a drink. Loved the music and the cocktails the Pop my cherry sour was especially good. Great vibes and cute little candlelit booths to sit in. Only sad part is that I heard a good song playing in there and never found out what it was.
Had an amazing time at this wonderful place. The drinks are really good, the music is truly good which is so rare. Met and spend most of the evening with super cool couple of regulars called Paul & Keana Kiana? but we were a bit smashed so forgot to get one another’s contact details. If Mr or Mrs the manager knows them, can you help me?
Late night watering hole. Live music is worth coming for
This place is amazing. The vibe is spectacular and the energy is perfect. Crazy good food and lots of comfy tables. The fried chicken sandwich is a monster. I'm taking my wedding party here this summer!!! Easiest large group booking ever.
Terrible door staff attitude, would not recommend. Security were extremely rude and distant. Reading other reviews about the poor first impressions shows my opinion is shared. The bar itself is a good size and pleasant, it's a shame really. Understand door staff gave a tough job but no need to be insulting or downright rude. Will not be back unless they sort this.
in for a pint of Tennents and Vegan chips and sheese, best chips and sheese or even cheese! that I've ever had... Great venue for a group of people to go in for drinks/decent food as they have booths and tvs everywhere with an easily accessible bar in the middle of the venue would love to return when live music is on as the music choice when we were in was brilliant
