Finally got to try here last sat! The food and coffee were incredible! I had the eggs and Green dish and all the flavours were so well balanced and tasty! We were so well looked after especially by the lovely guy with black curly hair! Can't wait to come back again soon! They also have a lovely outdoor area!
I give this place a 4/5 because the staff are lovely, interior is comfy and all around I had a great time there. Coffee is good and they even made me something specific I asked for which wasn’t on the menu. However, the food was okay. I had the sausage scramble and it was weird. I really didn’t like the sausages, I’m not sure what they were made from or if I am just not used to those types of sausages but they fell apart and didn’t even feel like meat. The dish is very wet which then makes the sourdough soggy underneath and makes it not very enjoyable to eat. I can’t say I’d get it again as it kinda grossed me out. I remember I asked for the little potatoes they had with their special and they were also not amazing. Kinda hard potatoes, weird oil on them. If you compare them to fried potatoes to any other brunch place they’d be low down I’d say. Needed Mayo. I feel bad because the staff were lovely and the place is lovely but I wouldn’t recommend the sausage scramble dish.
Decent lil spot in Stonnybatter. I had the croquettes breakfast and loved the croquettes! The blue cheese is a great combo! My egg was underdone white part translucent so I had to send that back but they sorted it quickly. The pancakes were delish but one was undone with the batter still raw but I didn't want to send that back too! Loved the toppings.
Tasty, pretty, healthy. With tables outside and not to much traffic in that street, you've got the right combo to enjoy a nice brunch ;
Amazing brunch with friends, do not be afraid to wait a bit outside, the turnover is pretty quick we waited only 5min and the place was full when we arrived. The waiter was super nice, and omg please taste the pancakes, they were to die for! We were full but we still took take away cakes will definitely come back! Congrats for the quality guys!!!
The place is small but cozy, could be a little overcrowded during weekends, prices are a bit high in my opinion, it’s almost 20 euros for a coffee and 3 pancakes. Staff is professional. Overall not a bad experience.
Came here twice for brunch and once for cake and coffee. The coffee is nice although the food disappointed me a lot. On the menu it looks appealing and unique but the two times I went there it was blend. Eggs not seasoned and I honestly couldn't taste the other ingredients pickled onions, avocado and pea cream if I remember well.. It wasn't bad but I did not enjoy it particularly. It's a shame cause it sounds delicious on paper... Service wise, the order always came quickly but depending on the waiters/waitress I didn't always felt welcome.
Had some lovely food and a coupe of coffees here on a Sunday afternoon. There was a little bit of a wait as they don't take bookings for parties under 5 people but it was a nice day so was ok. Sat outside which was nice. Very nice selection on the menu. I went for the Brunch Hash Brownies which was delicious. The potato hash brownie was lovely and crisp and the poached eggs were well cooked. I ate everything that came on the plate. The person I was with has the buttermilk pancakes as said they were amazing. The coffee was also really nice. I will be back again!
Really nice coffee here and seems pretty popular for the food too although I have not tried it
The most brilliant small cafe that there is. A a short walk from the phonenix park arbour hill side. I have been going here for years. Anytime I am in Dublin it's where I will go for lunch. It genuinely never fails to impress me and satisfy me. Dined there today 06.12.22 with my other half and it was so busy for lunch but the staff just take it in their stride. They are all good spirited and attentive to everyone. The food is fab and they are great at occasionally changing up the menu but keeping some favourites. Once you go here you will want to go any chance you get. Go try it if your nearby. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. Parking: Generally spots on street outside. Street Parking.
