We enjoyed a very warm welcome at The Playhouse for the showing of a locally produced film "Battle over Britain." Atmospheric venue and great value sundries. Many thanks.
Wonderful old theatre. Run by Volunteers as a registered Charity.
A small intimate theatre. Parking available opposite the theatre which is a bonus. Small but perfectly formed including a bar and toilets. Theatre staff welcoming and friendly with a varied programme from solo artists to amateur dramatic productions etc.
This is a lovely local venue and it is easy to get parked for free nearby. The cosy theatre feels so friendly. The prices for tickets are excellent value. The bar has great value drinks. The staff are incredibly helpful. It's so great to see such a historic venue. I can't wait until my next visit.
Had a great night last night. Some amazing acting and had a smile on my face all the way through. Plenty to laugh at. It was a comedy! Looking forward to the upcoming September production.
Great little theatre. Went to see a Status Quo tribute group, atmosphere was brilliant! Reasonably priced drinks too
Amazing Theatre, I love nothing more than the theatre, for years they’ve put on amazing performance’s, I recently went to see Kai bailey’s Santa Claus’s and the great Christmas caper, it really made me laugh and it didn’t disappoint
Great atmosphere, brilliant pantomime and a beautiful theatre
My son and I loved visiting to see James and the giant peach recently. We would be very keen to see anything else in the future.
Lovely little theater, about 150 seats, small bar, stage etc. Parking is very assessable also.
