We visited on a cold November weekday and enjoyed a pleasant walk along the pier and nearby promenade in the winter sunshine. As it was out of season, the indoor attractions and food stalls etc were all closed but you could still walk along the pier for free and enjoy the views across the coast and sea.nnAs we visited in November, there were plenty of parking spaces available nearby for a very reasonable fee £2 for the whole day. There were also a few disabled parking spaces near the ramped entrance to the pier buildings.nnAccess to the pier was via a set of steps with ramped access only available via the buildings which were closed.
Sadly seen much better days. Rusting railings, tired benches, not any soul on the pier. We're only just out of the main season, but there were no signs of finished events, etc. Not even a kiosk selling ice cream, drinks, and seaside eats. Shame really, because it has lovely views across the beach.
Arrived an hour before closing as listed on here and confirmed by Google recently. Doors were locked and by half 3 all lights were off. My girls liked the heart at the top end that we could get on
Went to the arcade recently, had a lovely time, my two children 8&3 had so much fun. Have to say that Mark who works in the arcade is a brilliant member of your staff, so friendly and helpful! They also had bowling downstairs which was only 1 pound per person after 7pm I think it was, which we really enjoyed too :
The pier has lots of things to offer for all, there's a big arcade, a big soft play area, a bowling alley which is £18 for a family for one game or £30 for two games, a cafe, a bar, take away places, plenty of space, it's a lovely place.
