Staff had been brilliant at this place, went shopping with my Girlfriend and they made me feel amazing, not a confident shopper and was grateful when one of the guys paid compliments to our outfits. feedback was left with the store manager, not often you see amazing customer service skills
Went into the store today 27/02/24 to look for a tshirt. Initially was absolutely fine, was asked by a male staff member upstairs if we needed help and were left to look around at our own pace. Went downstairs to try them on and was met by a blonde girl on the fitting rooms. The fitting rooms were very small and had curtains instead of doors which didn’t close fully so I felt I could’ve been seen by other customers when changing which wasn’t ideal. I asked my partner to come to the outside of the fitting room to ask his opinion on the shirt and moved the curtain to be slightly open. When I say the blonde female staff member did not stop staring at me for the duration of my time trying on the items I am not exaggerating. She didn’t take her eyes off of me once and was looking at me inside the changing room through the mirror whilst she was standing outside. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I think the staff member knew this but didn’t care, as we made eye contact through the mirror several times and she didn’t look away. It felt very awkward and odd. There was another customer in the next changing room at a similar time to myself. After I left the changing rooms early started to feel so awkward with the persistent staring I chose to just leave, I handed all my items back to the lady and walked away. I then heard a male staff member approach her and ask ‘did they even buy anything then?’ to which she replied ‘no of course they didn’t, shock horror’ and the male responding ‘surprise surprise’. Whether they were talking about myself and my partner or the other customer I have no idea but regardless it made me really uncomfortable and the staff member was repeatedly looking at myself and my partner in a strange way as we continued to shop. Eventually we gave up and left not wanting to stay any longer as we felt too awkward. No idea what we’d done to upset the staff as we’ve never visited before, were dressed nicely and acted politely, but the vibe in there was absolutely awful and I hope this review reaches the staff member in question
The worker there had a bad attitude, she was so rude to us. She was staring at us like just because we were waiting for our friend who was in the fitting room. Not very professional. I don’t recommend going there and receiving treatment like this
I had a bad experience today with the staff there. They really had bad manner toward me. The workers need to be more professional with dealing with customers.
Wanted to come in to buy something quick just before the shop closed. There was enough time for 1 transaction. I already know what I wanted and got told that I couldn’t come in the shop anymore… business hours state that it’s still open. Could’ve approached the situation differently by explaining that the shop will be closing and will be asked to leave once closed. Bad service
Unfortunately the staff are arrogant because of their ages and generation. Grey haired people are invisible to them, despite the fact that you may have a lot more money to spend than anyone. The good staff left 10 years ago, they were on the ball. Not looking to be served by kids doing degrees and having to put up with pesky customers till they graduate!
Had a lovely experience today in the size shop in L1, Alex was really helpful in assisting me buying trainers, had a lovely vibe about him, really good customer service and a credit to your company, thank you Alex xx
Was the only place where I could get wide fit trainers. now they are just top end trainers with markups more than JD sports. Never going there again
Initially ignored by all staff when I entered the store today. When I did eventually ask for assistance the employee was very rude and disregarded my request when I asked for a pair of trainers in my size. Instead of just checking like I asked he proceeded to tell me he knew better stating they never stock that size in that specific trainer, even though internet searches of that store and previous purchases here proved different. Not a great experience and immediately wanted to leave the store, only for this employee to then move in my path and refuse to move. What a joke of a store, I would seriously avoid here if you want treating with any shred of respect or dignity
Excellent service and friendly staff. We got the shoe that we couldn’t get anywhere else
