We had a really lovely experience here, trying the Hollywood menu. Food was immaculately presented, with fast and efficient service and all was delicious. My dining companions and I all have hearing loss and the staff were fantastic in accommodating us. Special mention to Patrick for really taking the time and effort to make sure that we were taken care of and fully understood everything.
If I lived in Belfast, I would absolutely frequent Nico's, particularly with special guests. The food is just top notch. Every course I tried was delicious. The service was thorough and friendly. The servers all work as a team to make sure each patron is taken care of. The menu rotates about every four weeks and the creativity of the menu, the visual presentation and the thought and reflection put into the meals is inspiring. Definitely try out Nico's if you are in the area. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Vegetarian options: There is a separate vegetarian menu. Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian, and allergy substitutes available.
Really enjoyed the Hanoi 6 course tasting menu. A great introduction to Vietnamese food. Every course was beautifully presented and so tasty. Couldn’t say which was my favourite as they were all soooo good. Service was excellent. Ellen who introduced us the Vietnamese menu was so professional and friendly. Atmosphere was buzzing. Such lovely vibes. Will definitely return.
Myself and a friend booked in for 2:45 pm on a Sunday, we both got the main meat menu, a strawberry cider and we shared a side. The staff were amazing, very friendly and smiley, full of information and really efficient. The six courses as a whole were amazing! My favourite dish was the sea bass, followed by the moussaka, although everything was really tasty! The six courses and a shared side really had us full and they offered breaks between courses if we wanted to take a breath which we appreciated! We 100% will be back again! The price was very affordable for the experience! :
Food was really amazing, so much detail, amazing flavours and such a nice presentation. We enjoyed every meal, and we are a tough crowd to please, my partner being a professional chef himself. Highly recommend! Only advise - the courses come very quick, you might want to ask for a little break somewhere like we did.
We visited Six By Nico for the Paris experience in Nov 2021 and the food was fabulous! Couldn't fault a single thing I ate and the wine pairings were fantastic. It was a wonderful experience! My only criticism is that given elegant presentation of the food & drink and the quality of the food, I would except the waiters to know not to lean across a customer when serving their dishes.
Had a nice dinner here themed on Hollywood. 6 courses plus snacks was just right for enough to eat. Some of the courses were fantastic, some were good, one was just OK.
I love Six by Nico and it's nice to not have to have a set menu and not have to pick . We had the wine pairing as a bit of an extra treat and loved the info ahead of each course. It was a Friday evening and super busy as it always is therefore it was very loud, but didn't take away from the wonderful dining experience.Food: 5/5
love the restaurant - ive been to other 6 by nicos and the service was just that little bit more relaxed in those. The Belfast one seemed more of a conveyer belt and a script - in saying that everyone was so friendly. The belfast branch is the nicest one and the food presentation is top notch
Italian dinner - Amalfi Coast • Parmesan foam polenta, pickled chanterelle mushrooms, artichokes, strip of pork fat • Buratta w/ lemon salt and chilli flakes, tomato foam, tomato twill, skinless heirloom tomatoes, green olive puree w/ chilli powder, salsa verde dressing • Fresh spaghetti w/ squid ink, seafood foam w/ coconut cream, concentrated seafood stock, sliced chillis, minced garlic and shallots, baby mussels and clams, samphire • Crispy skin seabass fillet w/ black olive tapernade, pickled roasted fennel and pickled courgette, roasted pepper, basil puree, basil dressing • Sous vide pork fillet w/ nduja jus, kale underneath pork fillet, caramelised smoked onions, butternut squash puree, fried pork belly w/ serrano, burnt onion jus, pumpkin seed pesto and pickled carrot, basil dressing • Lemon yogurt gelato, torched meringue, lermon aero biscuit, ground almond powder, whic chocolate, lemon jelly, sweet lemon curd, almond base • Deep fried breaded kuhli and whitebait w/ orange saffron emulsion, foccacia w/ balsamic vinegar and olive oil Please pardon me if I got the ingredients wrong! 6 course for £32 is a very good deal particularly with the range of proteins and different flavour profiles. My favourite was the squid ink spaghetti with phenomenal flavourful broths!
