What a wonderful restaurant. We received a warm welcome when we arrived including our little dog Poppy. The food was fab and the service was outstanding. All of the staff were veer friendly and helpful. We loved the menu and the specials board had some amazing dishes. We highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant which is dog friendly.
Very very very good food Everything was excellent Not a single disappointment Walked in after the beautiful aroma of Italian food drew us in. The service was very high standard, an nothing was too much trouble Nice outdoor eating area and our dog was made welcome and given a bowl of water. Excellent food, good service, atmospheric venue. A deservedly popular spot we booked for a Thursday evening with easy access on foot from Rye town or by car from further afield. We sat by the motor scooter upstairs !
I tried to book over the phone but they had no tables free. Turned up anyway a little after the time I wanted and the manager sorted us out a nice little table upstairs. We both had the cannelloni and it was very very nice. The dessert was also lovely. The tiramissu was nicer than another Italian I went to in Hastings. Staff were cool. Took a star away cause the missus found a hair in her food. They immediately replaced the meal but it can't be overlooked. I would go again but they are at the last chance saloon.
Amazing food. 100% ask what's on special. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Will definitely be back this week while on our holiday.
I was a little bit lost in Rye about the restaurant, be honest I didn't find any special. On the last day we give a try for lunch in Simply Italian restaurant. Wooow I wished to find this restaurant earlier. It's look amazing inside and the food... the best Italian food what you can have in UK. Really traditional and tasty food. I can just recommend any time when you turn up in Rye.
A lovely restaurant place with a typical characteristic of an atmospheric old italian restaurant in Italy. Fresh veggies, delicate fish and proper al dente spaghetti. freshly cooked. Fantastic location with easy parking and close to the Rye Heritage Centre
Very friendly staff, the manager squeezed us in on a very busy night. Lots of choices on the menu, they also offer take away. All the staff were happy and even though they were rushed off their feet they still gave an amazing standard of service. Food arrived quickly and it was all delicious, and the homemade tirramsu was excellent. Would definitely recommend, but advise booking as its clearly popular.
Ten of us gathered for a birthday lunch, all ages, all hungry. Waiters Alessandro and colleagues took good care of everyone's needs, including paper and crayons for small people. We were sad at the closing of Rochester's Simply Italian but very happy to find its reincarnation in Rye - and hear of Giuseppe's reinvention! We'll be back, a workable meeting point between Forest Row, Brighton and Folkestone. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie choices - brilliant.
An amazing meal, cannot fault it at all. Food was excellent, veal chop cooked perfectly, pizza crisp and fresh, squid ink spaghetti and cuttlefish perfect and meatballs tasty. Family of 4 dining. Very friendly staff. If your in the area its a must. Very good value for money.Food: 5/5
