Nice Pizza Express located on the main high street in Rochester. It's quite narrow but plenty of seating. We didn't have a reservation but the staff were accommodating and found us a nice table near the window. Good service, decent portions and the food was well cooked although the cheesy garlic bread the pizza to be fair could have done with more cheese.
Second Pizza Express in as many days. A friendly place, interesting room as usual. Started with a Hugo cocktail to go with a La Reine pizza. The service could not have been better. Good lunch on a rainy day. Kid-friendliness: Seemed to be good for families
Staff were lovely, and the food was splendid. Arrived at our table of two with our cutlery on a dirty napkin. Our waiters did forget a couple things though they were corrected after a while. Overall was a good experienceRecommended dishesDough Balls to Share
Me and another person dined here a week or so ago now, and the food was excellent. We found that the best part of our experience was the environment, as everything from the lighting down to the furniture was really aesthetic and set a nice atmosphere. The service wasn’t incredible, but nevertheless good, waiters were really attentive and chefs were on point. One really sweet man was serving us, wish we remembered his name because he was on it the entire night. The food came out pretty quickly along with our sides, and water refills were done pretty much instantly. Best pizza express I have visited this year for sure, and will be coming back again.
Limited choice with the food not informed of items not on menu, pizza ok when served. Stood like a lemon for an eternity to be seated , no cutlery on table, asked for it and you'd think I'd asked for money. Have eaten here before and always been good not this time would struggle to go back.Food: 3/5
We used to have a family get together and eat here at least every 4-6 months, but no more. What a shock the price increases were. £3.15 for a can of Sprite or Coke. But the thing that hit me the hardest was the £31.61 Service charge. I expect it said something about it in the small print, but it wasn't brought to our attention. It wasn't that the service was any good. Too few staff and a different waiter/waitress every time. The fact that they charged us for things that we obviously didn't want. By that I mean three children's ice creams for two children. Yes, one child was at each end of the table and three got ordered by mistake because one end didn't know what the other end had ordered. Use some common sense. If you'd have got that right, that would be good service. NEVER AGAIN!
Came in this evening with a couple of friends. Considering it was moderately busy and with only a couple of team members the service was brilliant! I’m not sure of her name but the young waitress was super friendly and polite. We all left with a smile on our face and a full tummy. Thanks guys!
A really great place to go with family for any occasion. We had a lovely time although this time the food let it down a bit. Our pasta dish and pizza came out cold and the portion was very small. Maybe it was a busy Sunday. Will go back again to see.Food: 3/5
Visited on Sunday to Rochester - the manager on the door fitted us in, they were very busy but that didn’t stop the service being 100% quickly served & delicious. The blonde manager I think her name is Cristina was superb will def visit again. Kid-friendliness: Amazing with my 10 year old
Food not as great as expected, I had the Vegan Nourish Bowl, which in my opinion was over priced, there was no dressing or hummus as stated in menu. The Dough Sticks were basically pizza crusts. Very Dry. Over £30 for my meal and a child's meal. Won't bother again. Must add the server was very polite and friendly. But overall we both left hungry!
