Excellent atmosphere and attentive staff. Very different type of curries etc as its Nepali based, so it was good to try this for a change. Lovely Nepali beer which we hadn't tasted before. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again.
We walked in without booking when the doors opened at 6pm and were offered a table till 7.30. Very quickly the restaurant filled up so we thought we were in for a treat. How wrong we were. Disappointingly the food was below mediocre. The onion Bhaji set the tone. Two big Bhaji that tasted like packet made, none of us finished them. The main meals were terrible. Served Luke warm and no way made to order, really disappointed.
Beautiful cozy restaurant, they serve authentic Indian and Nepalese food, homecooked style and fresh delicious ingredients. The staff is absolutely lovely. It also happened to be my birthday, which they celebrated, such a sweet surprise! One of the best restaurants in Plymouth.Food: 4/5
What a place! Incredible food, nice staff and a great atmosphere. There was a group of 10 of us. We were really well looked after as were other customers around is it appeared, the food came out together and was all freshly cooked. Good beer, good food, good atmosphere. What else could you want!
Both the food and the service were really fantastic. We were trying to find somewhere to eat and we were far too late for most places after 10pm on a week day, but the people at Himalayan Spice were so welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed at all. All the food was really good, but the nann bread was up there with the best we’ve ever had and the king prawn purée was superb. Would highly recommend.
Went there for a first date and it was such a lovely evening. The food was really tasty and good size portions too. They were very helpful when I nervously spilled my drink down my top and dropped my cutlery all in all, 10/10Food: 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. The rice was nice and fluffy, the saag alo was flavourful and the cheese nan bread had a lovely crisp and soft texture at the same time and it was just delicious. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. There was a waitress who took care of us throughout the evening. She was very nice, cheerful and professional. We found that the music was a little bit too loud for our liking, but once the restaurant got more people in, we barely heard the music anymore. The seats and tables were nice and clean and we also had candles on the table which was a nice touch. Overall, I will definitely visit again. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of delicious vegetarian options to choose from.
The food here is amazing, one of the best curries in Plym. Staff are always nice and friendly, been here a couple times with my partner's dad for his birthday.Food: 5/5
Good quality food but portion size was small. Very slow service. Took us over am hour to get our food.
Absolutely superb food, very friendly and courteous staff and cozy old English ambience. Again any time.
