I love going to Silk! Odette cuts and colours my hair, and she's amazing! Always gives me her honest and professional advice on what will work best, and I always leave extremely happy with what she's done. All of the staff are really nice and friendly, and the whole place just has a great atmosphere. Can't recommend it highly enough, I won't go anywhere else

I have been to many hairdressers over the years, as I’ve lived in several towns, and I have never known such a lovely hairdressers as Silk. Karen who owns Silk is a first class hairdresser and a very lovely person. Karen, Odette, Abbie and Jade are all skilful, amazing,  extremely helpful and genuinely nice people.  I have been a customer of Silk for a long while now and I totally recommend Silk.

Having my hair done at Silk is always a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and they always make you feel welcome. The new premises are fabulous too. I've been a customer for many years and recommend Silk highly.

One excellent experience with a girl who then sadly left silk hair boutique for another job. Then I had a chap. Taken 2 years to grow out a bad haircut- the incorrect layering is almost grown out now. Deeply unhappy, I went to Toni and guy afterwards to see if they could sort it out. They described it as a cut with mistakes used for one off cuts on wigs - “three haircuts in one. They were incompetent, the cut is also for blonde thin hair not thick hair”. Even people who don’t care about hair said my hairstyle looked odd. Hope that chap has now gone. It’s made me nervous about getting my hair done with anywhere new again.

Great for a gents hair cut, making an appointment saves waiting time and there's plenty of free parking outside and nearby.
