I had a hair cut here a couple of months ago late review due to a house move. I have thin, fine hair that grows quite fast, so I usually go for a decent trim I have long hair with LONG layers. I felt virtually bold after my visit. I’ve never had my fine hair chopped like this... In fact, I was always advised against many short layers due to how thin my hair was. I can no longer put my hair in a plait my fav style on the go. There’s just no hair for it. There isn’t a hair tie small enough to get a grip of what’s left.. my hair is already looking better, but it’ll take months, if not years, to recover after this haircut my long hair is before the cut, the rest is after
I had the most amazing experience at Silks today. Jess greeted me with a smile and was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked through the door. She listened to the problems with my hair and set to work to tame my wild locks. My hair took longer than expected and she never complained once. I am over the moon with my new style and cut and I will be definitely back to see her. Jess thank you for your time and patience. You did a sterling job and are an absolute credit to Silks hair salon. See you soon.
Had my hair cut here for the first time today and it was a wonderful experience! I was nervous going to a new hairdressers but the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing and my haircut is exactly what I wanted with the extra perk of my hair now being super soft. I was very nervous I've had quite a few disasters about finding a new hairdresser on my return to the UK. I chose Silkx and Lisa cut my hair, she did a fantastic job, the best cut I've ever had, I will definitely be going back! The whole experience was good, very nice atmosphere, lovely friendly team highly recommended.
Karen has been cutting my hair for YEARS. It's always a treat to come to the salon and without exception, all of her team are skilled in what they do. Last week I came in for a blow dry ahead of a family wedding. Emma did a truly amazing job. The curls and waves stayed all day and evening and still looked good the next day. Hands down the best blow dry I have ever had; wish my hair could look like that all the time!
Unbelievably happy with my hair. I have never had anything done to my hair, other than a cut and blow dry. I have been going to Silk and Karen has managed my hair for nearly two decades and I finally decided to have highlights. I was not disappointed. Beforehand, I was a little bit worried about the process and bleaching of my hair but Abbie is a true professional. She had a vision of how it could be and executed perfectly!! All the while I was able to enjoy the banter and relaxed atmosphere in Silk. I will be aiming to book this in as a regular treat now. Thanks again to the awesome Silk TEAM #lovemyhair
