Great little place to grab a bite if you’re in the area! We got water boiled beef, green beans and minced pork, and spicy pork noodles - they were all great! Super flavourful dishes with vibrant colours, packed with heat but not overwhelmingly so! As well as the food we got some red date tea and hot soy milk, both of which were great! The price was completely reasonable and the staff were great. Definitely recommend if you’re feeling Sichuan food!
The crisp duck, Sichuan style beef and gong bao chicken with peanuts plus noodles... Amazing... delicious with tsingtao! Small lovely aymosphere, very friendly staff and good prices. If you are in Kensington you must visit! One of the best Chinese food in town.
The waitress had a super bad attitude and the owner's attitude of problem solving was very insincere. After the waitress had done something wrong herself, not only did she not admit her fault or apologize to the customer at all, she also complained loudly in the restaurant because she was not happy. What was very funny and ridiculous was that she purposely used language that she thought we cannot understand to complain but in fact we can totally understood it perfectly. Very bad attitude, catty, terrible service, suggest not to come and spoil your good day! Even if you just ask for a glass of water she may roll her eyes back at you. Sincerely suggest that she to get a new job or learn some manners.
The noodles was delicious and spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But I wouldn’t not get pomelo tea with honey again. Hardly any flavour. The restaurant was packed by 7 pm so I would suggest a reservation. My noodles plus tea was £15 including service charge.
"Tasty til the last grain of rice" That'd be my wife's review, in a nutshell. The longer and spicier recount goes in the lines of: be it Sichuan or not, one ows to try some spicy delicacy. In a cosy little place, a stone's throw from Earl's Court subway. Add to it the good food, and ther you have it: China on a plate.
The worst restaurant ever during our visit in London! The food was not fresh, the prawn and the tofu were not fresh and strange in taste. It’s nothing like Sichuan food, owned and cooked by Cantonese chef.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Britain. Foods are properly made to good quality, at a decent price level. Highly recommended. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Really friendly people and great food - exactly the Sichuan flavors I was craving. I split one order of the dry hot pot with my friend, and we were both full after. We had it with white rice. It was just the right amount of spice. The menu is full of authentic Chinese dishes. I would go again!Food: 5/5
This little hidden restaurant serves sezchuan dishes means it’s mouth numbing spicy. What I really like about this place is that they serve Chinese soups with homemade noodles. So if you like chinese and you like it spicy then off to sezchuan chef ‍
Food was OK albeit expensive for what it is but me and my friend got unknowingly charged 12.5% gratuity fee which I consider being scammed out of my money. It will show up on your receipt as "Service Charge".Food: 3/5
