Staff were excellent and knowledgeable, I have bought 2 mobility scooters in the past 9 mths. Very pleased with both which are used for different purposes.
Appalling discusting service Bath seat broke 4 weeks ago took them a week to come out and left my 77yr old father in law with out anything to enable him to get in and out of the bath!!!! We are now into our fifth week with out a replacement they have Disabled him. Not enabling him to live an independent life . Absolutely useless we will never buy anything from them again and nor should anybody else until they improve theirs customer service we have had to keep ringing but still not Resolved Seems like they will take your money but not really interested if things break down and up to now no offer of a full Refund. Avoid dealing with them at all costs!!!!!
The store has an impressive range of equipment for aided mobility and dexterity, unfortunately I was looking for various forms of lifting aids and there didn't appear to be any. However. The stock that was available was excellent in my opinion, and the staff were very polite and extremely helpful.

Hi Ableworld the staff are nice in there it is quite expensive
I recently had problems with my scooter and contacted Ableworld for repairs. My first time From the time of them collecting my scooter to me being able to pick it up only took a couple of days. Needless to say they've done a very proficient job and I'm happy to be "back on the road" with my independence restored. The price of the repair was very reasonable too. My sincere thanks to all the team that dealt with me at the Shrewsbury store, as frustrated and impatient as I may have been, from first contact to me picking up my scooter after repair. All were very friendly, patient and professional at all times.
Very handy when I run out of stuff for my wife. Not cheap.
Good for the disabled not great for parking.
Visited Ableword , Shrewsbury on Monday 24 December 2018. We had been searching for a shopping trolley for our disabled relative. The Newport store had kindly phoned the store to check stock and we were able to see the item in 'real life' rather than just a photograph. The staff were very friendly and supportive giving sensible advice and not pushing the sale. I would recommend this store for checking possible purchases and advice following our visit.
