Not to be confused with Shower Doctor based in Scotland, who are unrelated suppliers of shower spares, Shower Doctor in Essex is a longstanding company specializing in repairing showers in the Essex and East London areas. I am a regular customer over the years and can fully commend them for their prompt service and encyclopedic knowledge of all showers built in the UK since 1970. Bob turns up on time, is a delight to have around, and has saved me a fortune. He fixed my 18 year old shower today for £68 including parts and call out. Call out charge is currently £55, waived if the repair cannot be done. Parts are extra, ironically usually sourced from Shower Doctor in Scotland who I'm told are excellent at supplying spares. So don't call a plumber, they won't know, call Shower Doctor. You will need to leave a voicemail and expect a callback because they receive so many spam calls they let it go to voicemail and then filter, but don't worry, they will call you back.

I had a broken diverter cartridge and temperature mixing cartridge on my 10 year old shower and neither I or my plumber had had any idea what brand or product I needed. My plumber recommended using these guys to find out. I used the the free "identify my shower" feature on their website it is perfect for finding spare parts. The guys are professional, knowledgeable and very quick to respond, would 100% recommend. Just send them photos and they will tell you what part you need! It helps if you give them as much info as you can.
