Toilets are ever open, waiting room is never open, vending machine takes money but doesn’t give food, and the station is full of clueless staff members. Absolutely nothing available, making me wonder what Southeastern use their pick-pocket money on.
Staff members clueless. On 30/9/21 I asked what platform the 1337 Victoria train was and told by staff platform 1. It was actually platform 3. No alteration announcement and had to run to catch the train. When I spoke to the driver regarding it I was told Shortlands is an unmanned station. More incompetence.
Shortland station is a real community hub. Dee and team do a great job and are always helping local charities; there is often a plant or book sale going on, or posters from the local schools. Keep up the good work!
Poorly maintained. We have missed our train as they switched platforms last minute but the speakers at the end of the platform didn't work so we didn't hear their announcement.
You guys call police on a young black boy for what reason exactly???
