There is a good range of cheap to moderately expensive footwear here. Great for school shoes , summer sandals and winter boots, they carry brand names like sketchers and also have handbags, slippers and shoe care accessories.
The staff here were great except for one member of staff who lied to my son. A member of staff had made the effort to look on the system for a size 7 shoe that we needed and told us there were 4 in stock, she then told us to go and ask a lady downstairs. The lady downstairs in the store cupboard could not be bother to even look for the shoes and told our son that there were none in stock. I would have given the shop a lesser rating but it wouldn't of been fair on the other 2 ladies who were outstanding at there jobs and gave great customer service!
Went looking for boys slippers and found very little. Left disappointed
I went in here to look at some new casual shoes for myself &ended up coming out with two pairs as both reduced in price. Both have small wedge effect heals one in black leatherette with bar fastening of velcro, the second is navy blue canvas with elastic side inserts to help with slip on style.Very pleased with choice&staff were very pleasant & helpful.
Poor service in store, you can't access lower level unless you are able to physically walk down the stairs. No lift, staff untrained on meeting the needs of those with disabilities. Head office customer service very unprofessional and refuse to adapt store to prevent further discrimination.
Pleasantly surprised by the available choices and prices when inside the shop. I don't think the window display properly reflects what's inside as I've always just glanced and walked past. This time there were 10 mins left to all the shops closing so I took a chance, glad I did.
The actual shop is fine , good products at good prices but the main reason for 2 stars officially is since the Covid-19 outbreak and they have reopened the Derby shop in particular as it's the only one I have experienced there is no organisation at all. Nothing has changed except a tiny screen for paying which they advise you to stay behind when paying for goods but it's very difficult because its so small. There are 2m markings in the floor but nothing around the checkout area. There is zero organisation for paying as there is no specific place to queue for paying, everyone huddles around the desk but spread out because they have to stay away from each other. If they don't plan to have markings the staff should organise people and start to guide the customers into some form of queue. We went specifically for children's shoes and the staff down there were talking to customers they knew and totally ignoring everyone else down there and surely it's the job of the staff as well as customers to adhere to them regardless to enforce the rules if some people are incapable off following them. Overall there was just a total lack of organisation. They had 2m makings on the floor but absolutely no markings around the checkout area. They need some sort of queuing system, spots on the floor, lines, arrows anything to show customers where to queue and they need a bigger screen when paying! It doesn't protect anybody having a tiny screen. They need a big one that covers the whole desk with a hole at the bottom for passing stufff through if needed.
Not bad prices. The shop is in a good location, near the main high street and easily accessible. The shop is relatively clean and tidy. The staff however are not very friendly or even helpful, that's if you can find them.
You get what you pay for. First time I've shopped in here. Brought myself some slippers and a backpack to go on my wheel chair. Slippers fell apart after 2 and a half weeks and the back pack only lasted a few months. Stock was all over the floor, shop assistant wouldn't help get something off the higher shelves for me to look at. She asked me " well where your carer cant they get it down for you " paid for the slippers and bag purely because I just wanted to get home but I wont ever shoo here again. Cheap and poorly made and staff with terrible attitudes will cost this shop alot of custom
It was ok. Had a pushchair so couldn't get downstairs
